This is an addon I am really looking forward to getting and covering on my future let's plays. I hope that Dovetail Games will do a Class 60 in DB for Midland Mainline.

The coupler covers are to prevent snow ingress in bad weather conditions.
One of my friends is actually a developer at Rivet. They wanted me to say they're really pleased to see your excitement.
They’ve done a good job, but are they aware that in the model of the 170, they have included the wrong headlight cluster, they have included the second phase headlight cluster, but actually, the units they represented have the 1st Phase headlight cluster, which is the one shown in this video. Not having a go at them but I’m sure me and many other players have spotted that mistake!
Apart from that, they have done an amazing job and can’t wait to buy it!
Are they gonna bring the 158 in?

@@GTRRailwaysTrainspotter Sorry for the late reply but I got curious and asked them. They're not a modeler so the train appearance isn't part of their job but basically, time constraints are a massive part of the things they do so if there's a mistake as small as a headlight cluster, they really can't afford to go back and change it

Last time I went there they had push pull class 27s and deltics and an A4 steam loco on a railtour (at least I think it was my last trip of several, once the A4 was in Haymarket shed inside)

All we need tbh is a midland mainline but In EMR Era Who Agrees
Emr might be hard considering it's under first group and even swr was causing licensing problems. It would have to be emt who are much more open to licensing
@potatoman451 emr isn’t first group. SWR is though. I believe EMT is under DfT now so easier to get licensing

Good evening can ask im from the US end I love British rails how many miles is this rout
i live in fife. i think it's about 56 miles. stations are nice and close, for example: Cardenden to glenrothes 7 mins & cardenden to lochgelly 4 minutes (irl). it's good irl cause they're so close if ur going one stop guards don't bother with getting u to pay cos it's only a few minutes when u could go an hour for the exact same price

Why are people so excited for this route? What’s so special about it? Isn’t it just another circular commuter route like the Glasgow one>

@@ThePeteW Oh. OK, I didn’t realise the Forth Bridge was on this route. Maybe an end to end route that uses the bridge (e.g. Edinburgh to Dundee which also goes over the Tay) would be more interesting than just going round in a circle in a commuter train.
@@davidhamm7909 I do agree it'll be great to see the fourth bridge, I think it goes as far as markinch which is alright, but I'd rather it went to Dundee, and Glenrothes then you could to end to end journeys or even Perth would be nice
The fife circle is what has been created, not to Dundee.
