Marie is hank’s wife, and that means that sometimes you gotta what is necessary for the other to recover, it’s hank who has been shot and can barely move his legs, Marie intention are positive but He don’t need that, yeah marie helps hank to take a shit but that doesn’t mean that 2 seconds after Hank wanna act like marie like everything is normal amd all about her amd what does she do to get attention? Rob is right about Hank, it's easy to judge how he's acting out but it's impossible to know how you would act in his situation.
boogabuga rob is the only one who would do what hank is doing and that taking his anger out on his wife because she’s the nearest person
@@ikskwizit Nobody is saying what he is doing is fine, but when you're in that situation you aren't exactly yourself. He feels a certain amount of humiliation around her because of the hospital, and he didn't want to go home until he could walk but she made him come home so he also feels a bit of resentment. On top of being almost paralyzed and almost killed, it's hard to say how one would act in his situation.
@Supanjibobu You can't really say that for sure, we don't get to see them 24/7 we only get to see certain moments between them, to paint a picture of their characters and how they are changing. It's easy to say get your shit together, but he has never needed people's help before, and now he is bed ridden and completely relying on someone else. He isn't himself at this point of the story, he's dealing with things he's never dealt with before in his life. Don't forget he was almost shot to death. After being completely self reliant, then being reduced to his status now, could you honestly say you wouldn't get irritable and frustrated?
True that people can't say how they would behave if they were Hank , by the same token they can't say how they would react if they were Marie . Unless they have walked in her shoes .As a person who has taken care of an extremely ill family member , who would then get really rude with me, I can tell you wears you down , but I have always been there for him , and I always will be . Just saying walk a mile.
adrienne1958l I think both of the characters are written and portrayed very well.
When someone gets what Hank got, sometime it's hard to come out of it, you can go on deep depression, rejecting everyone you love. For those that live with them, you have to suck it up for a while until the person come out of it.
