Mike is probably my favorite side character in the series. Doesn't mess around, doesn't mince words. The most badass grandpa out there.

As someone that struggles with drugs I can relate to Jesse wanting an ongoing party and avoiding the quiet. You just don't want to be left alone with your own thoughts.

The scene with Walt and Mike in the bar becomes so much more meaningful when you realize that Mike's a recovering alcoholic, probably having his first drink in years because of what happened to his partner
That's a good point! Mike is day drinking; I never noticed that small detail
I doubt he ever went cold turkey he has beers often in his home even after avenging his son

That was ballsy for Walter to think that Mike would turn on Gus just because of what he did Walt knows how surprised Mike was and he thinks Mike is going to be fearful and want to get back at him but he is loyal to his boss he knows the game
Gus created this situation. The whole meeting to make peace between Jesse and the two street dealers was a charade. It was strictly for Walter's benefit. Gus wanted Jesse removed from the equation. To accomplish this, he ordered the street dealers to murder Tomas. By this, Gus hoped to provoke Jesse into confrontation that would result in Jesse's death. In this way, he could get rid of Jesse and still have clean hands in the eyes of Walter. Once his plan backfired, he was furious and decided that Walt and Jesse both had to go. Now, Walter has no choice but to take out Gus. Gus was being too clever for his own good.
We never found out whether he ordered the murder of Tomas or not. Either way, I doubt that was his plan so he could get rid of Jesse. He had business to run and didn't have time to waste by creating problems.
@@parkerboy795 There's no way that his two "loyal and trusted employees" would have killed Tomas without Gus' approval.
@@Col_Fragg We never really got the full details of the situation. It really seemed like Gus gave them the go ahead to operate however they see fit as long as they get the job done. Then he said no more children. Granted, he very well could have told them to do it, but there is the possibility that they interpreted his command as killing Tomas instead of cutting him loose.
@@parkerboy795 there was no room for misinterpretation, jesse showed he was upset with them using kids, gus 'stepped in' to ease jesse's problem with it, ergo It was clear gus wasn't saying kill the kid. I think the OP commenter might be on to something.
I feel like it's left open enough that we don't know 100% Gus wanted the dealers to kill a kid. There is a possibility that Gus told them ''no more kids'', and they either took it as ''kill him'' or those gangbangers were mad at Jesse, and took out the kid to hurt him. It would be quite ironic, if Gus didn't order the hit, and his whole empire fell apart due to a misunderstanding (ironic, because Gus is a very detail oriented person, who doesn't want any misunderstandings).

@@suryasingh9738 The worst is a little exaggeration, I admit. But they are not good at all. And it is clearly visible in the audience ratings(Imdb). Daredevil and Punisher on the other hand, are awesome.

@@suryasingh9738 Rotten tomatoes does not mean rating. It means the enjoyability of a show. If a show will probably be enjoyed by people of all ages, then it will have a high score. If it will not be enjoyed by everyone(for eg-kids), then it has a lower score. Like Paddington has 97% rotten tomatoes because it can probably be enjoyed by every age and group. Whereas Shutter Island has a score of 68% because it will probably not be enjoyed by kids and stupid people.
Imdb on the other hand is a great judge of quality for shows/movies. If a movie has a rating of 7 or above, then it will probably be good. If a show has a rating of 8 or above, then it will probably be good.
So I don't know what you mean by Imdb not being reliable. In fact, Rotten Tomatoes is the unreliable one for the reasons I stated above.

Hes depressed. This episode shows how people deal with stress in different ways. In Hanks case its to push people away and isolate himself (very common of men who are depressed)

Jesse yet again pushes hard drugs on people who are trying to get clean/don’t want it: “ah, baby boy.”

Well, his friends did the same to him in the first season. Jesse wanted to get clean from meth because it made him paranoid and his friends pressured him into taking it again. Amazing how so many people forget that. I'm not saying that it's right for Jesse to do it now, I'm saying that this group of friends it's not the healthiest one. Also, what is up with all this copy paste comments on every single video saying "Ohhh Jesse does this, but Walter breathes and they call him the devil"? 🙄 These girls never called him that. They even agree with Walter a lot of the times.
Neither are truly good people but yes, Walter is objectively worse than Jesse.
