You can put it back in a small tiny container and spray some water to keep it moist.
If u r going to use paint immediately the next day, u can spray water on the paint and cover it with aluminum foil. I do this way. 😊

You could just lightly soak them and the paint will scrap right off

I don't think so. If it's Acrylic paints or oil paints it will stay forever.
