I'm impressed with Travis's honesty. He's confident about his choices and the way he feels about life. He isn't going to waste to much time on haters. He won't hold a grudge and just hopes the best for others. He appreciates the people in his life so much. He won't blame anyone for being themselves. He wants to be with people that their hearts really show in the work they're doing. I think that is a refreshing way to live. Wish I could have heard him speak more about his family.

Tom definitely went through a personality change/personal growth in front of the world. Notice how Mark is seldom serious or introspective. Tom was just like Mark until the 2003 album he became more serious and introspective and mature in a sense. And he brings that to Blink's music when he writes with them.
It's funny that he rags on Tom for not helping with the album when Tom fucking wrote 95% of it anyway. I just assumed there was an agreement among the band members that Tom writes most of the albums, Mark write those one or two songs that no one will listen to more than once or twice and Travis pretends he's a rapper/pop star and does does with Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.

I understand why Tom left Blink, his heart wasn't in it anymore. Tom just didn't love playing with Mark+Travis as much as he used to. It really pisses me off that Tom wanted Travis to leave Blink because he couldn't fly to Australia with them. Matt Skiba is a great part of Blink and brings an energy and a passion to Blink that Tom doesn't have anymore because he stopped caring about Blink long before he left again.
Can't trust what he says in this interview, apparently Aj Maddah (soundwave promoter here in straya) was angry about tickets not selling as well as he thought, all 5 shows sold out in like the first day. Since that year the venues have been reduced in size and don't sell out. 2 of the 5 dates are no longer on the tour. There certainly is more to the story.
Just telling his side of the story, he and Mark are perfect and Tom is the bad guy. They claim they just want to make and play music, but since the breakup Tom has been releasing music left and right while Travis and Mark just keep holding on to that Blink limelight as long as they can. It's obviously not about the music to Travis and Mark. If it was then they would just do that stupid Plus44 crap. But music has nothing to do with it, it's about the fame and spotlight. Well that and the fact that Mark doesn't know how to do anything but Blink. He's like a kid that got really good at Madden 99 and only wants to play that, even though everyone else around him has grown up and moved on.
Or maybe just doesn't want his creation (blink) to die. He already said goodbye back in 05 and now he had to part again? It's never been about the fame to them. Mark just loves music, whether it's composing or playing
