I completely agree, which is why we brought in Jeremy Jones to do the commentary on the 2020 matches. We're even considering re-doing some of the 2019 matches with JJ commentary.

limiting the number of safes( geraldine's idea) is not consistent with the grind-em-out style of one-pocket, and would pervert the game into some dumb version of the lesser games of 8,9 or 10 ball. Safety play is the point of the game, andt those who can play safe will lose, then try to modify the game to suit their shortcomings

Commentary leaving much to be desired. How about not commenting a one pocket match if the game's slow, defensive nature doesn't suit you?
