The Warrior Weed segments have been the highlights of these shows for me recently. Every time that stoner music starts playing in the background, I instantly laugh. Top tier content as always
The amount of terms you had for the "Warrior Smoke Cloud"w as amazing As well as everyone's other favourite The running gags Looking forward to next week's episode
Reliving the War! Excellent work as always. Raven's attention to Villano was tremendous. Like you point out, it was throwing character and such right out the window just to check on your fellow. Also, the 4 Horsemen being the ones to finally end the nWo would have been a much better way to wrap up a 3-year tale; traditional 'rassling winning out against the flashy sports entertainment would have been cool to see.
I know that many people say this in the comments but I'm gonna say it too: This series is one of the very few things that keeps me going in these days. I'm suffering from severe depression and it's getting really tough to not think about ending it all. I'm not going to explain every detail, that would take forever but I'm glad that you are making this awesome series! I'm not trying to give you pressure I'm just appreciating your work! 😂
Reaching out like this here mate, and letting it out is a win for you. You are online here with people that love this programme and channel justas much, and some can even get back to ya and relate to you via their own stuggles within. Take care good sir, tell friends how you are, keep the chinlock on the depression. You can do it, and are doing it. 👍👍
Since you obviously like professional wrestling there is a lot of matches online if you look up specific matched by the competitors, the day a show happened, and/or aired. There is a lot of books available for free to download legally online and some others most likely from your local library for download. I found that watching documentaries, most being ones called istaphobic by the powers that be, worked wonders for me in getting dealing with depression and motivating me to bigger and better things. It's very easy these days to be demoralized, which is all by design btw, so it's up to each of us to help one another out whenever we can.
Changing up the intro to reflect what is happening, that's dedication and fan service. You capture the anticipation and excitement that we all felt every Monday night during that era, this is why I never miss an episode of this series. Keep up the good work.
This series gets better every week with the running jokes. What's funny about the Warrior smoke lines is that they shouldn't be topped but probably will be haha. This channel's great!
Raven was one of my favourite wrestler's, it was a tie up between Raven and Scott Hall (Rest in peace brother). As a kid watching the war I wouldn't have noticed, nor understood what was going on here, I'd still just be hyped up to see one of my favourites wrestle. So going back and seeing this now as a adult really makes me smile know that someone I looked up to as a fictional character would without a doubt throw kayfabe out the window to ensure the safety of a fellow performer. This was a nice little moment, thanks :)
I just had the weirdest thought. You showed that clip of Dustin wearing that hand your life over to him shirt, and it made me think of The Ministry. Imagine if Dustin had kept that gimmick up and he just kept getting more and more fanatic until it is revealed that Him is actually referring to Undertaker and this had been going on in the background for years. I think it could have worked.
i may be in the minority.. but i absolutely loved the Road Dogg's (Conan's too for that matter) intro every week. It was amplified tenfold in person. I never forgot a single word of it. The shut up joke is great. But it was nice to (almost) hear the whole thing this time.. Even if it was from the wrong person this week lol
Just wanna say THANK YOU for doing this series, along with all the other great videos you put together weekly. It really helps me deal with life, kick back and have a nice reminder of my childhood. This is my daughter's favorite show now. When that "you wanna war" hits, she starts smiling and dancing. Oh, and "EVERYBODY HERE COMES 2 COLD SCORPIO!!"🤘
Has anyone noticed the Booty Barber Zodiac Warrior Disciple has not wrestled a single match or even uttered a single word during this phase in his career? What exactly is WCW paying Ed Leslie for?
Next Review!?? YOU know what's up! Reliving The War Reviews the first ever WWE event I went to live at 11 years old! WWE Breakdown in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada! :D I was up in the nose bleed seats (Three rows down from the top). If you look closely you can see me.. kinda... Even if I was on the hard cam LOL XD Keep up the awesome work bro! THE highlight of my Thursdays, 100 %
Most legit draw of the whole Monday night Wars. At least in my opinion rewatching up to this point. Thank you for this series. I know I'm late to the party, but isn't that half the point? Thank you for helping late folks like myself catch up
My 2 all time favorite Wrestling women were Jacqueline and Terri Runnels. So needless to say, I am looking forward to a certain faction coming up soon! LOL
They really should have just let DDP break the streak. You could easily book it in such a way to leave Goldberg protected. Make it a complete upset, but still reward a man who built a fan base largely through hard work. Love Brett Hart’s deep “if you see something say something” concern with his nemesis passing the buck on his saying
Watching these every week really reminds me of how deeply involved Ken Shamrock was in things back then. It's absurd how WWE tries to act like he wasn't even there now.
Just FYI: Villano IV wasn't out for two years. He wrestled the rest of the year and then took six months off at the beginning of 1999 to heal. But he wrestled four days after this at a house show.
Wrestlingbios I'm glad you noticed that Bagwell and Steiner gave zero f**ks about the Warrior and Hogan storyline and promos cause it was hilarious to just see them posing to the fans while everything else was going on!! 💪🏻😂 When i watched the full show i thought it was definitely in their character to do something like that. Great stuff! 😎 Btw, i think Bishoff loved that Jerry Flynn was a karate guy like he was lol, maybe that's why he kept getting booked even though the fans hated him. 😂
The heat between flair & bitchoff is fascinating. Especially after learning about the chaos of what was really going on behind the scenes... i remember wondering why flair just randomly disappeared for so long.
Imagine being Disco Inferno - you've got this chance to become the Cruiserweight Champion, and just as it's in reach, you remember that your entire persona is built around disco dancing and you just can't resist that urge.
Dude it's a pure TREAT to click play on your videos. I get excited every time one comes out! lmao THANK YOU for all of the great content! I LOVE this era of wrestling
Aww man I remember living these nights, and looking back 25 years on it’s unbelievable how more fluid the wresting was, even the lower and mid card guys knew how to wrestle, along with fired up crowds at every point. Nowadays it looks like the wrestlers are in a ps2 video game, and not in a good way like the games actually were. How far wrestling has fallen. Such a shame. Long live WCW/ECW/WWF and Wrestling as a whole 1985-2010. RIP.
According to Eric from "83 Weeks", the plan was to always bring back Flair at some point; they just needed him to be cleared from injury. Eric brought him back to put him on T.V. because he didn't want people to forget him or the Horsemen.
It's me! I'm the Jam-Up Guy!
This series is the best part of my week man. You've made a lot of fans here.
Came for the war, stayed for the Bret Hart “Shut up”!😂😂😂
Same 👍
Clearly this guy has the jam
Shut up
Shut up!
Denied!

You can’t pluralize Lone Rangers
I don’t know if Ed Leslie counts as more than one
Lol airheads!!!!
It's one "warrior" nation. Not one person nation. I think it really shows what the Ultimate Warrior thinks of Ed Leslie.
Best reference to the movie airheads ever lol
I like how Raven broke character to make sure his dance partner was ok that shows that he's a really good person

I think Raven deserves to go off the charts of the Meng manliness meter for stopping the show to make sure Villano IV was getting help.
I’ve been waiting for this episode! I remember being at the WWF show, and it was one of the best days of my childhood.
June 29, 1998 for me. Such cool thing to rewatch
You bringing up this was the best days of your childhood makes me feel old lol, i was 18 at the time this event happened.

I propose a mandatory 2 Cold Scorpio entrance theme every week whether he appears or not. It's the purest 5 seconds of the 90's.
Thats a cold idea... maybe ... 2 cold!
Nothing like a weekly dose of that Warrior Kush
That whole bit had me dying
The amount of terms you had for the "Warrior Smoke Cloud"w as amazing

The running gags
Looking forward to next week's episode
Only 2nd to how many times this dude had names for Tennessee Lee
I legit laughed out loud at "Hash Bandicoot". Well done lad, well done.
There are a bunch of good puns on this episode.
I did as well at "Donkey Bong Country"

Shoutout to Raven to check on that wrestler to make sure he is ok. Bro i love the inclusion of Bret everytime it involves the Outlaws 😂

Definitely.. missing Monday night was like missing the cool kid's B Day Party and you got invited 😅😂. Great Times man

3:24 Nick Dinsmore? The technician who was granted the role of Eugene? My goodness.
I love the new intro. Syncing the video to the beat goes a long way with me.
