    Based on this video, it seems the Matrice is the only drone to get. However, the cost difference is substantial. I'm glad I watched this.

    I saw in some threads, that the ISO Therm option shall come with an update to the Mavic 2 Advanced. Anything heard in that direction?

      On the Enterprise Facebook page they said it will not be a feature. But that could change down the road.

    Why not include the Autel Evo 2 Dual in comparison?

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please watch the video we do compare the Autel in the graphic for every criteria. The Autel EVO Dual has really become obsolete in terms of recommending it as a solution because the new Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced has much better zoom, plus RTK, at a price point that's about 25% less.

    • @HM-sx6mg
      @HM-sx6mg 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SteelCityDrones I'm comfused. Price point of 25% less? I got quoted on an Evo 2 Dual for 7.5k. Is there a different model for 10k? Also, don't you think that at mid to high 30 minute flight times it's actually exceeding on in air/on station times? Also, don't you think that Evo 2 modular camera system will allow for an upgrade, without having to purchase an entirely new drone? I can upgrade a base EVO 2 at $1300 to a Dual with 8 zoom and 640T by purchasing the camera seperately for 5k. Oh. Almost forgot, the Evo 2 has RTK capability. I don't see how any of those qualities can be over looked. The things listed on the chart has errors.

    I use the M300 as we have a turn-key Optical Gas Imaging Camera for Oil and Gas Inspections. Our Ventus OGI-CAMERA is basically the Gold standard and required the M300. It will work with the V2 210 as well. I do have a Mavic 2 Air Ent Dual Adv. On order too. Amazing aircraft. We sell the OGI and recommend the M300 for Inspection though.

    for power lines the air 2 is good enough in Brazil, we use it for 440Kv lines(transmission lines), we tried both the m200,m210 and the Size does interfer on the photos, the air 2 is just so smal that you can go pretty close to the tower and shoot photos very close, witch later makes you able to digital zoom on it also the magnetic field does not interfere very much on this drone, we used to fly the air one, but now you cant find it on market anymore
    on the other hand the m200 was too bulky to fly around those line, also since you cant get close for the photos you got use the digital zoom, leading to worst photos of the components
    the mavik enterprise was good, but the price here is almost double the air 2 price for pretty much the same result so air 2 all the way

  • @rayan69pl

    30% of the things described in these tables are highly "debatable". Some of them are lies, some are understatements. Especially when it comes to the DJI Matrice 210 shown...

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      How did you conclude 30 percent? Which specific parameters of the charts did you find inaccurate?

    • @rayan69pl
      @rayan69pl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SteelCityDrones ok, these 30% were exaggerated on my part.
      One by one, things that are not entirely true in these tables (regarding M210):
      1. 5:09 - What's the difference between the RTK systems in the M300 and the M210 RTK (v2)? Since both systems use the D-RTK2 station? Have I missed something?
      2. 6:31 - can the H20T camera be used for anything meaningful? Ie. Can the collected materials be analyzed in some USEFUL software? Because as soon as the cameras appeared on the market, new users of the M300 felt cheated because the DJI software did not allow any meaningful analysis of the collected materials. Contrary to the XT2 cameras (which can be attached to the M300)
      3. 10:03 - there are a few things here. A) - what "advanced features" are we talking about? What specific differences are we talking about when it comes to commercial use, of course? Are there other advanced features that I don't know about, apart from better sensors and possibly automatic object tracking? B) The table shows "not possible" to use LiDAR on M210. Can I give you some LiDAR solutions for this model? C) - You write that M210 does not have "Terrein Following" option, although at 20:01 you show UgCS Software that enables it.
      4. 10:04 - Have you carried out any tests that show that the M300 + P1 kit gives more accurate results than the M210 + Zenmuse X7 kit?
      The M300 is a great drone but you don't have to bend reality to show it because later such a comparison does not come out too "real"

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@rayan69pl I will be glad to go over each of your talking points. Before I address your questions above. I would like to point out Steel City Drones has never bent reality. Our video reviews contain nothing but real honest feedback where we will not exclude feedback (good or bad). We keep it real. We never slant a video for an agenda and our viewership agrees with that. You will not find anyone have as comprehensive of a video in regards to Matrice 300 or Mavic 2 Advanced. No only have we made a video for both, we made this comparison video to help end users compare the differences of the units. Most of our customers purchase from us because we tell it the way it is. Some manufacturers do not like that and in fact have asked us in the past 2 remove a review because it didn't favor them. So we are very proud of that in those terms.
      Also the Matrice 200 and 210 V1 and V2 are end of life and discontinued. Plus product support has been discontinued with no more firmware updates. It was a great aircraft that served the industry very well for almost 3 years. But the Matrice 300 is an improvement in every way possible and that's undisputed.
      In regards to Point #1, The Matrice 300 comes with the RTK equipment as part of the base model. You have to pay extra and purchase the M210 RTK V2 model which is more expensive. You also have antennas that fold open and closed that can come loose in flight. With the M300 the puck antennas are fixed on there.
      In regards to Point #2 - Useful is a term that is not specific as its more of opinion. If you are referring to the Thermal side of the camera, DJI tools can show you radiometric functionality of the data. There are also converters out there that allow you to use Flirtools for post processing analysis. The H20T camera is far superior to the Z30 and having everything on one camera along with the range finder is a game changer. Many people that have had the Matrice 200 and then switch to the M300 never go back.
      For Point #3 the 10:03 mark talks about the size of the aircraft and longer line of sight possibilities. In terms of advanced features you have Smart track, you have range finder, and you have pin drop. There's automatic autonomous flights that you can do for easy of repeatability. There's one button panorama mode. There's also a new feature that, assists the pilot in making a smooth turn mid-flight. It does this by automatically adding Roll to Yaw when turning. Without Coordinated Turn, a skilled pilot must coordinate both control sticks to make sure the drone’s heading is aligned with the front of the drone, which can be demanding for newer pilots or in demanding situations. Payload capability of M200 V1 which has the highest payload of all Matrice 200-210 is not enough to carry even the lightest LIDAR. Talk to LIDAR USA about this as they are LIDAR experts. M210 does not have Terrain Follow mode built in, Matrice 300 incorporates it into the Pilot app.
      In regards to Point #4, No I have not done side by side comparisons of those 2 models because we can't keep a P1 in stock, there is a waiting list for the camera because its that good.

    Doesn't matter, if it won't take off for a job. Their idiot and restrictive "Fly-safe" system, which actually is more dangerous in certain situations, has bit me in the butt 5 times in the last two months. I don't need a drone to take control away from me and land, not being able to control what it will land on, whether that be a car moving under it or a baby carriage.
    I bought an Evo II Pro for a backup and it's quickly becoming my primary over the Phantom 4 Pro.
    Once I get an airspace authorization from the FAA and if necessary work with the Military towers in the area, it should be enough. If you live in an area with no intersecting airspace, you might be OK with DJI. If you have it though, stay away from them. I've had it detect runways that don't exist, which even aren't on their "Fly-safe" map, and refuse to take off. I've had it take control and land in intersecting airspace (can't handle more than one unlock at a time) and detect restricted areas that are over 1/2 mile away and not take off (while a base was waiting for me to finish before flying helicopters).
    What DJI doesn't understand though, is their way of "reducing risk" of lawsuits (and let's face it, that's what this is about) actually increases it by taking physical responsibility for it's actions through it's software.
    DJI probably has the best hardware and support software out there. I really like it. It doesn't matter, though, if it won't fly when you need it.
    By the way, you can change cameras on the Autel EVO II, though the Thermal is definitely not cheap.
