There's actually only one good reason to buy a normal blender, if you want to do industrial quantities of perfect smoothies, in which case you need to buy the 600$ vitamix since others can't do it. For all other usages a Bamix is enough and can do more. Even if the normal blender allows you to use it hands free, in practice they give you a stick to push the ingredients, so it's not so hands free in most cases. The blending will take less than a minute then you waste another 5min to wash the thing, so you didn't save any time.

Can I run it in any container? A glass. A jar. A bowl. A pot....
Can I run it in boiling content? Such as boiling gravy of onion and tomatoes?
Can I use the same blade for spicy items or a milkshake? I mean is the washing of the blade safe enough to use for both purposes?

Can i run it to grind meat cubes for mincing?
