@@advpolishingmachine if you want any input from a slipjoint knife maker, I can give you my wish list for a dedicated horizontal grinder. Only AMK tactical and Beaumont metal works make them. So there is a market for better/ cheaper one

Попросил шлифовщика отшлифовать на станке раскованный клапан .Он сделал всё как положено:закрепил магнитной плитой и включил сож .В результате заготовку выгнуло ,плита не удержала и заготовка ножа летела через весь цех метров 50 .

На плоскошлифовальные станке с применением смазочно охлаждающей жидкости можно делать серьёзные сьёмы металла . Гриндер такого не сможет .
