Sustainable electric cars previewed by "fun and exciting" concept weighing 1000kg. The Citroën Oli is a new concept car illustrating the brand’s renewed commitment to affordability and sustainability, heralding an array of new technologies earmarked for upcoming cars. An adventure-oriented pick-up similar in stature to the Citroën C3 Aircross, it doesn’t preview a production car (despite being road-legal) but rather serves as an embodiment of the marque's new ‘back to right’ philosophy.

The concepts always look cool, usually when it comes out it has so many changes that I don't feel like it's the same car, let's see what happens to this one.
thats right but in case of the AMI the design became even cuter in the production model than it was in the prototype. i love citroens simplicity approach, ... and i ordered an ami.
by the time it comes out, it'll look closer to Rav4 than this.

I like this FJ cruiser from France.
The Oli is Citroen’s take on the SUV which is bold, distinctive and shatters all the boundaries about vehicle design. They took the Ami, supercharged it and turned it into family transportation and solved one of its shortcomings: its lack of usable cargo space. My hats off to them: its unique, innovative and fun and there’s nothing else like it on the market.
If this could be scaled and kept true to the original design .. it would be a huge WOW !
Not something I'd buy or drive, but a HUGE fan of creativity making a comeback. If it's even possible with the regulations these days

I like that they reduced everything in the cockpit. less electronic, no gimmicks. this should be the future of cars.

Yeah it looks based on the Hummer HX concept.
While other brands recycle ideas and designs over and over again, Citroen actually recycles materials to create something original and really interesting.
I dnt know about aerodynamics but it keeps popping on my head watching this video. This car is fuego 🎉🎉
It looks like a mini Hummer. I do like the design but I’m not sold on the vertical windscreen.
If it is commercialized as it is, I think this car will sell considerably.
So funky and different from all other EV concepts. Needing a wheelchair to get around, I love the door design. It would make my life so much easier. The only other thing that I would add (perhaps as an option) is a cover for the back that would effectively make it into a hatchback. Way to think out of the box Citroen! 👍

What a ground-breaking design of an FJ Cruiser! AND it has zero off-roading capability? Genius!
I love it! Take my money! With some modifications. Why do automakers think I don't wanna use my phone's screen? So the idea is perfect not to use a crappy infotainment system, but please let me use my phone's screen instead of it, and don't hide it in a slot. And if it is affordable to make the side windows curved, make the front as well, because I would use it on highways, and the coefficient of drag definitely matters. But besides these small bits of oddities, I would love it. Really happy to see, one company started to understand, that just remaking old models with new coverings won't be enough and started to design something, what the classic Mini was like in 1959.

I agree! Hope to see some of this cool design in future models. Not quite sure about the current crop of c4, c5 and aircross. I do enjoy the 900km range of my Diesel cactus however 😁
I was like "Oh that looks cool.", then I saw the word concept and quickly realized this car will most likely end up in a Citroen museum, but not ever available to the public.
Second hand Amis were the only vehicule selling at higher price than a brand new one in 2020. This one is even better.
This is a very thoughtful and interesting design, and one that I would strongly consider, depending on what the production version looks like. I must say that I find it funny that the narrator of this video explains how the name of the car should be pronounced, but then proceeds to pronounce it six different ways throughout the video!
You can always rely on Citroen to buck the typical design trend and come up with something bold, original and new 😊

The upright windshield suggests that it might be very vulnerable to debris damage from highway driving.

As per usual with most concept cars, absolutely fantastic and tons of brilliant Innovations that would have a hugely positive impact. Hugely well received by customers. Car maker declares they have no intention of putting it into production.

Perfect for me and people who like simple affordable practical cars just make a hybrid version with 4x4 and a little bit bigger bed and keep the price under 28000 $ or euros people will go crazy for this car
I like it. Very original, very practical. I would suggest simpler, vertical lateral windows and the rubber mats to completely cover the bonnet and the roof - that way the car will be impervious to hailstorms, which could be important in this new era of weather extremes. But the speed limitation could be raised a bit, the car should be allowed to go at highway speed at least.
I'd love to own this. I want my car simple as possible

it looks awesome. The issue, as always, will be the price. This car will not cost less than 20.000€ at least if it was ever to be built. Even built on plastics. It's a disaster the cost of cars nowadays
With a vertical windscreen the wind resistance is greatly increased, the energy consumption is increased and the range is lowered significantly, just to have a quirky design feature.
