Finally a concept car that will genuinely remain a concept 😇
🤣💀fr
Future: It will be a reality.
😂😂😂😂😂lol
You don't know that :/
I don’t think so. It’s easy to produce this concept today than back in the days. We dream we create. This might have be design with the help of an Ai.
Definitely a concept car with those doors and TV floor. One ❄️ winter season that floor would be toast.
I’m pretty sure they thought about that but you seem to know more😂
They would be water proof obviously
Nah, that would be full weather sealed
I'm talking about salt and rocks not waterproofing.
With that floor I'd make everyone sit with their legs in the air!
Those doors open and close like
A broken grocery store entrance,
This Car will Stay A Concept.😂
living proof that not only have we been visited by aliens from afar, but now they are living in the oceans designing our cars.
That's the most impractical key fob I've ever seen.
Is a bit big, and if you dropped that, you're basically screwed. I thought SB was going to a couple of times, I can only IMAGINE the faces of the Lincoln execs as she was handling that glass car key = 😱🥵😳
so true lmao
This is a concept vehicle. Future inspiration and ideas for innovation. Not everyone will be able to understand them but I can guarantee that the designers are happy with how thought provoking the vehicle is.
@@kamgoff6716 how is a key fob the future? They're already being phased out for smartphones.
Nothing about this concept will "inspire" future cars. It has not a single good idea displayed
It looks like the Crystal Key fob from the ship that sent Kal’el to earth from Krypton.
I still believe every vehicle should be driven with hands and a steering wheel.
me with my kingsong S18 😂😂😂
I agree
Definitely bro
Exactly. With this kind of concept, they are trusting a machine with their life
It's a big turn off for me , no steering wheel
I really like this car and i think it’s wonderful that Lincoln is celebrating the past and future of transportation.
I would really like to see a vast array of micro mobility transportation vehicles available to the public today from the major automakers such as Lincoln. i would just love to be able to buy a really nice city car, that was aerodynamic, covered in solar panels for the body, to run accessories, and could travel at least ten miles per charge for city errands, work related travel and for pleasure.
Beautiful car!
That video was UNBELIEVABLE FREAKING COOOL!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE IT
Beautiful car but I’m guessing they didn’t factor in pot holes with them wheel covers.
of course they didnt, its a concept car
@@aprielphaskah7366 I read the title, I understand it’s a concept car and likely to never be put into production. I only mention something practical. I didn’t say anything about a steering wheel or seatbelts… smh
If car museums have pot holes then they need to rethink those wheel covers.
When you opened it I thought the door and roof might break the way they were shaking
Exactly the way I also thought
Bit wobbly but it is a concept, bloody lovely though. Reminds me of FAB1 from Thunderbirds
Concepts aren't built like production models; they are design experiments that will get tweaked, slightly re-modelled, to ensure it meets the following automotive standards once hitting production stage. Here the concept isn't something that'll be in next three years....more like a decade more when autonomous level gets higher to be fully auto.
Massive automatic doors like that can only be so smooth,.
@@mistermatix8241 no, not "bloody lovely". It's so corny
This is definitely the future I want. Makes me feel like I’m in a sci-if movie!
This is one the most INSANE cars I have ever seen.
😱😱😱😱
This is the most insane car I’ve ever seen in my entire life
Okay, where did you see it though ?
@@AmanKumar-wh8tk in this video
idk the vision avtr is pretty crazy aswell
@@saylesh 🤣
Ugly.
The engineering is amazing as is the tech. The practicality of it is lightyears away.
What engineering? The key is a huge block of translucent dumb plastic, freaking 90% of the car is mechanical pumps and screens.
Building a satellite or inventing a steam engine is engineering. This is bullshit.

50 years from now... i'd still want seatbelts because even if there's 0.001% chance of an autonomous car crashing... whoever is in there is done for
Forever concept lol

@@integritypriority4472 hahaha ;)
not if it crashes into a pedestrian
How do you park if the doors go out like that? Do the doors hit the other cars?
Some of these concept cars will remain a concept forever….imagine it’s raining in the future and you tryna get into this car…it opens up and ends up all wet inside
The concept has some major problems but its just a concept
First off who would park that outside?
You'll end up getting wet regardless of whether the doors are open or shut. Did you see the massive gap between the doors after they had shut blondie inside. At least you'll be singing in the rain I guess? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Doesn't rain In the future
@@yyxy.oncesaid climate change 😂
Ahh, yes. Another concept car. Don't get too excited. By the time, if and when, it goes into production, it will look more like a '98 le Saber with an LCD screen glued to the dash.
🧂
😅🤣
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Huh
?
The way the doors and roof wiggle while opening gives me the feeling that it's not a true car
it will still take atleast 100 years for this to become practically relevant on roads
10000 years maybe...lol
imagin you park in an underground parking you can't get out 😂😂
the thing that makes most concept cars impractical is the doors and how they open, this car would need a triple garage to park in or at least 3 car spaces at the local shops/mall just to allow everyone to get in and out
ikr
probably who in the future will be able to afford such a car will have a nice big garage, moreover it is an autonomous car, that is to say that you get off it and she goes to slip into her parking lot or garage independently, without needing space, even at the exit, first comes out of his garage and then comes to pick you up, he will be in front of the house to take you wherever you want
Do yah think poor people will buy it.. Of course a billionaire people can afford it and have big garage...
They don’t take that much space, probably a little bit more than butterfly doors or gullwing door
I'd be more upset about the water puddle I would have to sit in when it's raining and the roof opens.
Wow, car is absolutely stunning!"
It's a real beauty-and car is a head-turner. I'm impressed!
This channel shows us vehicles I never even imagined viewing. This long machine is one of them. Technology of this car is superior.
Imagine when you are in a parking lot and the car is 6 m long and your doors open like that lol
it's an autonomous car, first you get out of it, then she goes to park by herself
I was just thinking that it could Hit another Car Door , Oops, they need to use their brains wen they build 😅 😬 these cars for the Future.
You don’t take cars like this in parking lots.
Alex is almost speechless on this car. And thats saying something because Alex is really good in being spontaneous
Just means she was paid more. This whole thing was absolute cringe
Glenn your thoughts are not so bright
I noticed that too Glenn. She couldn't find the words.. kept on repeating phrases. She knew it wasn't practical, but she had to be nice about it
Me: Sir, i can't come to work today.
Boss: Why?
Me: I lost my steering wheel.
Boss: Isn't it automated?
Me: My doors and roof fell off.
Boss: oh...
THE INSURANCE WOULD BE INSANE 😂
It looks very innovative but still with many flaws I imagine because at the time of closing you can see light passing between the joints of the doors and when they open they tremble a lot, but it's a good concept
👌👍
one problem about Lincoln model l100 is that when your in a parking lot you don't really have space to open the doors
2 stroke FOREVER BABY!!!!!
It would be interesting to see the safety rating data on that. Getting into that car while the rain is pouring would probably flood the car and soak the interior. Where are the seat belts. It that car ever crash while someone is facing backwards without proper back support. I love the aesthetics but this concept car needs more thought to be practical.
Be carful, when you win the prize, you don’t have to pay for nothing before you get the prize
Theses are not ment for mere peasants with no sense .
@marlon Powell 💯
It does need better back support, however backwards facing in an accident is significantly safer for humans in an accident. It’s why children are recommended to stay backwards facing until they’re too big for backwards facing car seats. It reduces whiplash and the risk of being flung through the windshield during an accident because you hit the seat not flying through glass due to inertia
Congratulations Lincoln Automotives be proud of this one
YES BLONDE, I'D LIKE TO HAVE TWO OF THEM
I'm happy to know I will never see this car anywhere but in this video.
I got a ride in this last week driving with the engineer back to the plant, he got it up to 225 in 11.5 seconds🔥
From a residential designer's point of view, I feel that when the front seat is in the inverted position, the back of the front seat should be laying down. Rather the the back of the front seat should just move forward and recline slightly in the inverted position while seated facing the rear seat passengers. Otherwise, the L100 is extremely stunning. I am also a Lincoln owner. I love my Lincoln mkx.
So unreal, I mean the doors and stuff.
What a piece of art. I want one now. Lol
In all seriousness, this design, obviously toned down, would look great as a next gen continental.
Very neat Concept, but I still appreciate driving. As you said though, we'll see what the future holds. I just like the relationship you have with your Vehicle while driving. It's more of a Team Effort. ❤
This is the way to heaven, keep going Lincoln...
My mom owns a Lincoln Navigator and we’re huge fans of Lincoln and when I went to the website I saw this car and I was mind blown 🤯 never would of thought that Lincoln would ever make something like that
Lincoln is owned by ford
So its technically ford

And luckily we can’t afford it
Hi
Im a final year, my dad just passed out
ITS NICE TO SEE OUR DIRECTION OF CARS ARE STARTING TOO MORE LOOK
SPACE AGE. CLOUDS HERE WE COME.....!
The fact that cars are being made to drive on their own while you sit inside without a seatbelt and chill out as the car drives you, tells us one thing, we are DEFINITELY IN A SIMULATION. 🚬😎🍺
such a nice car🔥🔥even like the fact that you don't have to drive it ,it just takes you to the location you've set on the screen.Incredible😁
I had a dream several years ago. I was riding in a car with a tv screens in the floor. Now this. It reminds me of a Bugatti pur sport from the rear. It seems to me that the roof doesn’t seal tight when it’s closed. I’m thinking it will leak in the rain. But that’s ok because it’s a concept. I still like it though
Having the front and back seats face each other makes so much sense, when you think about it.
Instead of having that separation of back passengers and front passengers and not feeling like you’re in the same room or area, that all changes with a car like this. Think about a limousine. All the passengers are amongst each other and it provides a much more intimate and shared space. Making conversation and interaction feel much more natural, effortless and overall, more enjoyable. That is the benefit of having seats that face one another. Allowing all passengers to interact more naturally and remove that unnecessary barrier of separation, which is felt in the mass produced vehicles of today.
So, yes, I hope more automakers embrace a similar concept of creating one large, shared space. Think of how functional that could be with four passengers, two on each side, facing each other with a coffee table like piece of furniture in the middle. All four passengers could enjoy drinks on their way to an event together and the center table would also provide a spot to place cell phones or anything else they want to put on a flat surface. Also, maybe that surface would have phone charging capabilities built-in and sky’s the limit for whatever other kind of features it could have.
Remember when we all dreamed of having a TV instead of regular floor? Mei neither.
Damn the floor is a screen...thats too dope
Nah that stupid
Damn Ford
This is the kind of vehicle I have dreamed of since a teenager. I know it is just a concept car, but the design and engineering is absolutely incredible. It simply inspires and stimulates the imaginarion of the endless possibilities of the future. What an awesome concept Lincoln!
🎊
😂... finding a parking space so you don't ding the car next to you may prove to be an issue if you ever wish to exit the vehicle (and I thought the open radius on the larger, older vehicle doors was a little difficult to manage... lol)... but yes, the car is certainly a beautiful work of art...
Some outrageous 😳 outta SPACE type vehicle

Its perhaps the most amazing thing I've seen in my life..
I believe this car will stay as a concept, however a future that I'll be driven definitely appeals to me.
Nice one
Such a cool looking car. I would love to own one.
Definitely a great dream car...
6:40 like someone Closing the massive BOX with Robotic hand 😂😂
That's kinda cool, love the rims and the interior. The Greyhound is a bit like the Spirit of Ecstasy. Not too sure about those massive doors, and the steering reminds me of the Mercedes Avatar, but nice looking car.
The steering is very reminiscent of the Mercedes AVTR, It seems to be the way automotive designers are focused. A move away from traditional steering wheels and a shift towards the way things are in the home, like remote controls, computer mice, touchscreens, even things like Wiimotes, PS Move controllers etc. My big concern is about reaction speed in an accident, gliding around what is in essence a mouse, unless it's unbelievably accurate, to avoid a collision, I don't know. There's a reason why the good ol' steering wheel (through cosmetic redesign, and evolution, but even so) is still the de facto automotive control system of choice. It's direct, and even though power steering is the biggest development, it's still ultimately driver connected to road.
@@mistermatix8241 It will be for level 4 autonomous driving, so the car will be doing all the reacting. I think it's the same as the EV which is for transportation while ICE remains for people who want to drive. I see a lot of advancements in transportation but very few for automotive enthusiasts.
@@ELXABER I get the autonomous driving, but it's not infallible. Nothing will beat the reaction skills of a good driver/pilot. Autonomy is tested in perfect lab conditions/simulation, where the element of chance is kind of minimised, whereas on a driving lesson/test, you're in REAL WORLD situations, where anything can happen. Simulation vs reality. Also, with autonomous cars, it's removing the fun a bit. To the point where you might as well get public transport. In reality, I don't think we'll truly see the end of the steering wheel, it's tried and trusted.
@@mistermatix8241 Autonomous would be faster than humans but also as you said, it's not infallible. But absolutely correct about the public transportation, that's what it is, just slightly personalized and semi-private. I'm not sure what the split difference will be between people who just want transportation and those who want to drive, but considering the number of people under age 30 who can drive a stick shift, it seems like a slow move away from the driver.
true though
Now old timers will really be riding in style!
Lincoln is always beautiful

Epic review. A glimpse of the near future that mixes advanced human existence and proposed future earthly conditions. If one would think outside the box regarding this vehicle platform, this would be very scalable to include upgrades such as : translucent solar panels, liquid titanium infused carbon fiber capsule, an enclosed power train utilizing a unique micro energy atom,
What about hovering...necer having to be concerned about flat tires would be the ULTIMATE❗
@@krisstockton1379 that awesome feature would would be great to have. LINCOLN took this conceptual design way into the future, where this vehicle would be classified as a transporter, and there wouldn't be a lot of vehicles in use on an updated road design built for failed/discontinued flying vehicle projects. Maybe micro auto jet propulsion would be invented and superior option to magnetic or force fan(drone type) power train components. Hopefully the people for that future succeeded in light travel. ✌️
I remember having a concept cars book when I was a kid back in the late 90s half of the cars in that looked very similar to this. When will a car company actually make one of these for real?? Probably never. Or at least not till full autonomous vehicles are an actual and legal thing.

Yes is very beautiful car

The New Model L100 Concept is interesting because it honors the legacy of the 1922 Lincoln Model L. Its sleek design with aerodynamic influences and Lincoln's Quiet Flight DNA create a futuristic look. Exciting features of this concept include jewel-inspired controllers for cars, unique door opening sequences, and a cinema-style floor. It's important to note that this is a concept vehicle and not available for purchase. This concept provides an idea of the potential for innovation and design advances that can be expected from the Lincoln brand in the future.
Lincoln's attention to detail is outstanding!
what attention to detail? look at the gaps in the doors when it closes, this thing was thrown together lmao. the doors and top bounce when they open like its about to break
Best design I’ve seen 😮🔥
My view on cars like these where the car becomes a lounge, is that it sounds so perfect, but then I remember how bad motion sickness is when I'm not facing forward looking out the front window, & it makes me sad because I'd probably never be able to use the lounge features of these futuristic cars where you face backwards, and the windows become fully opaque.
...but would you still get motion sickness if the windows were fully opaque & you couldn't see out ❓
Is it the actual movement that makes one nauseous or seeing the landscape whiz by....or a combo of the two .. . ❓❓
