- This is the funkiest concept car in the world, the Citroen Oli. This Citroen concept is absolutely incredible. It has completely vertical windscreen for material and cooling efficiency, it has innovative material on the roof that you can stand on, and it has an interior full of quirky details.

Nice to see Citroen going back to what made Citroen famous in the past: innovative, avant-garde, fresh, pushing the boundaries, trying new things. I hope they translate these things onto production cars.

Obviously the innovations (just like the price) are on another level. Especially for electronics, since the Citroën wants to be minimalist on this point.
The irony of it is that they tried to be so utilitarian and focus only on what is needed but the design is so unique that it actually becomes lovable for its aesthetic. It really would stand out against all the crossovers in the streets today.
I have to agree with you, the design is so unusual but also fashionable at the same time ❤ fascinating! Id love to have one if the price is reasonable 😂

It going backwards and forwards at the same time. No electric windows, less glass like really old cars like model T fords. And forwards with things like the speakers and phone ignition. I like it. Shame it’s French

First all electric car I’ve really wanted (that I could probably afford 😁). Hope it goes to production and comes to America.
Limiting the electronics makes for a longer lasting car in the long term.
Citroen’s concept SUV is all about form follows function. Nothing has been wasted; thought has been given to the design, materials and purpose. Strong, light and simple. That’s the essence of the Oli. 😊

I would love to own this vehicle! I am glad to see the use of extruded cardboard panels is being used in the automotive industry to make vehicles strong, and lightweight.
My late grandpa also called Pierre, he really like Citroen. I wish he's still alive to see this beautiful car.

Blonde, you’ve missed the whole point of the car. The point is to be lightest car possible for an EV, so a small cheap battery can last like a Tesla one. After all, that’s good for you bank account twice (at purchase and with charging), good for the environment, and good for your time (since it takes less time to charge).
Bring it to market just like that!!! This is so futuristic this is what we need from Citroen.

I got into a Citron when I was 7 year old in Germany in the late 70s. Citron always has unique designs.This is a perfect vehicle for all warmer climate regions. Middle East rest of Asia, Latin America it would be a huge sale

Nice I already was in love with the Citroen Ami, but it is just a little bit too barebone. Good to see that they are taking the concepts of Ami and bringing it to a real car. For me this mentality "just the stuff you need but nice designed" is perfect

Last will not happen. Lobbiests (current car manufactures here, wont allow it. The old laws to protect domestic production needs to be removed if cars can meet the same safety standards. Also lets see it in a crash test.

I needed to see you more on those back seats, the floating headrest did not cut it for me, looks like it's a bit forward. How about the aerodynamics, if the windscreen is that flat, won't one get more resistance and thus more energy needed?

she hasn't mentioned it but, there are air intakes in front of the car and the air passing thru and over the front hood creates an air windshield so the performance isn't sacrificed

This is what I observed...
Because both are made to have less sunlight/heat entering. However it definitely doesn’t help with the aerodynamics in front windshield.

Great concept. Those mesh seats seem difficult to clean over time when dirt and dust gets inside them.
You can just shampoo it with a hose and scrub brush. There's a drain.

If sold in Japan 10 years ago it would have been a high seller. Reason I say 10 years ago is because everything is fully tech today. Not a lot of people would want to do anything manual. Yet I like the concept of it.
