Such a good, clear and slow explanation. Ive seen many videos were people were just introducing the cards by name and showing replay examples going x10 speed and im like, having the hardest time trying to keep up with the card names and images. Then we have this guy calling shenshen “whatever this is” heading straight to the point and explaining everything in simple terms. AWESOME VIDEO

I used to play duel links and I gotta say as a f2p player on master duel I’ve enjoyed it a lot, I’ve made 3 decks so far without spending anything and if I get bored I just switch em around. Can’t wait to try this one out too

In the budget version should run cloud castle, just works really well with the deck especially with vermillion targetting itself to get a tuner from grave (or banished) back to hand while still getting off vfd. Also bamboozle for early combo anti nib when you have a good hand.
Hard agree i have 2 cloud castles in my budget ish version rn lolol
i am just adding stuff. If you are like me and were building sky striker alongside this, chances are you may stumble upon 1 copy of geomathmec final sigma, a level 12 generic synchro summon that is unaffected by other cards except mathmec card. Personally, it is one of, if not the hardest card to get rid of, cause the only way to get rid of it is thru kaiju/lava golem/nibiru. Combo it with zeus and you get a board wipe whilst still haveing 6k beatstick staying on board

19:30 If you weren't going to make Shenshen for follow up, you can just use Chuche to make Laolao a level 9 and make VFD with that. Save your staples and you'll still have 2 banished for Chuche

@@Nyctra. In OCG his name is a combination of three monsters; their initials are "V F D". If you look up the name of the card in Japanese you'll see it say VFD, so everyone started calling it that.

I know this is a month old video, but I feel you should have done another duel to show off one of the 2 main combos this deck normally does. The forbidden droplet isn't great in VW, and Lightning Storm should be a 1 at most because you normally have a faceup card on the field.

I still haven’t found the best setup for the Extra Deck and I’m very vulnerable to cards like Raigeki which I can’t negate.
I’m thinking about removing stuff like Jiujiu and Cloudcastle because I find their effect pretty niche, I almost never use them. Seems like cards like Geomatemech Sigma, Utopia Beyond and Bird Totem are more useful. What do you think?
Sigma is great for sure!
Solemn Judgment might be useful if you're having back-row problems. I found the deck to be a bit annoyed by it and well, since it's Solemn Judgment, negates with legs can't stop it. The Extra Deck does sort of need some playing with to get the right set-up for you, but non-negotiable cards like VFD, Shen Shen, Zeus, etc shouldn't be cut.

A short story and advice: For 15:58 don't forget it is a quick effect, so try your best to hold it until opponent acts, maybe throwing that chalice earlier for instance
My opponent couldn't stop the urge to say yes, and declared "Light" (I had Omega and Uni-zombie on field as it was turn 3) but I had a Gold Sarc on hand, allowing me to vanish a card from deck and so destroying his VFD (Shiranui Spiritmaster, a fire monster and thus why is better to wait)

My list is almost exactly like your upgraded list but with 1maxx c, 2imperm,2droplet,1storm,2 cross out,1nib,2gama 1driver. I haven't stopped bricking and it's not because of gama package I never see it but it's because I only draw back row in vw. Master duel really hates me playing vw. (9/11 games i bricked)
I just won 5 games in a row and ranked up from Gold Tier 2 to Platin Tier 5.
Is it normal to skip a whole tier because of wins in a row?

alright, In the maindeck im only missing 1 mai hime lulu card. the extra deck is where it falls apart. i have 3 in total and one you listed is not even showing up as a card. the true king of all calamities is nit in the game

The thing i hate the most about this deck is, just like drytron and adamancipator, it is very hard to stop. I've once used a 2.4k apollusa, double dragons, and an omen, and I still could not stop it.
How would you deal with Vampire Kingdom against this deck because that field spell benefits from our plays and destroys our cards.

I just went from gold tier 4 to platinum tier 5 after beating a gold tier 2 in 2 turns after they surrendered. Is this a glitch? I dont think that’s normal. I think I was on a 4 win streak too. I ain’t complaining, it gave me like 500 gems lol

I don't know if I can craft Ultimaya and Crystal Wing. Can I substitute them for more utility Level 6/9 Synchros and/or Rank 3/6/9 Xyzs?
I wouldn't prioritize Ultimaya or Crystal Wing over stuff like VFD or staples.

Can't you just save material and make the 6 a 9 and overlay to save a monster for next turn? I mean they can't use effects or attack so it shouldn't die right?

Declaring Divine Beast is a waste. If you call that attribute it doesn't stop monster effects that activate in the hand and in the graveyard.

I beay this deck yesterday with evilswarm hraesvelg, the guy overextended into calamity in turn 1 then he flip summoned my hraesvelg and didnt activate its ability to negate, then he rage quit when he knew he misplayed
