Hay mate. So my camera /audio journey so far. Go pro 9 , media mod. Purple panda lapel mic. Go pro 10, media mod and purple panda mic. Osmo 4 with dji mic 2 And finally I’m using the Osmo 5 pro with dji mic 2. This video was probably with the go pro 10. But I’m much happier with my latest set up. I’ve recently released some videos on my channel showing my latest vlog set up if you want to check that out. 🤙
@@DSR1YTawesome thank you for this! I have the purple panda but feel there is too much wind noise! It may be something I need to change in editing! Or my helmet!!
A HD Road Glide Special is in the same ballpark price wise in USA. And bike has way more Tech than a HD. Also the bike can be a Tarmac carver why not plenty of fuel and this bike was lengthen for better 2up riding. Go 2up on the V4s compared to Rally and see how much more room you have with the Rally.
2-Up testing videos is something myself and Zoe have started to try and do in-between her day job. Testing these two back to back would be interesting.
I agree, this is the best bike for 2023. I take mine (V4s) off road but only on the gentle stuff, I'd hate to have to pick it up if I dropped the big beast! After taking mine to Irelands' Wild Atlantic Way, I can't wait for my next long tour. I too am interested in seeing the new GS1300, but I'm not expecting it to be as good as the Ducati. I guess we'll see soon enough.
Indeed not long to wait for the GS1300. Maybe the GS1400 next year can beat the Ducati Multi? Good to hear someone taking their Multistrada off road :) Enjoy it and ride safe.
Was a toss up between v4 rally and SFV4s. Went with the SFV4s in grey Nero. I’m a fair weather and weekend rider only. Hate carrying a pillion. Will do a European trip once a year for a week, so a 30l Breige tank bag is perfect. The SF seat was more comfortable to be honest. Was surprised. Prefer the slightly more forward lean, better feel when turning. Aesthetically FAR more pleasing than the rally 😂 I can see how someone might pick the rally over the Streetfighter however.
and its ok to admit it when we are only fair weather riders, i wont purposely go out in the rain, usually because I’ve got all my camera gear, and don’t like being wet :). If you only go away once a year then the SFV4 was a good choice, you can’t deny it looks a lot better than the rally either :)
yeah vanity won out a little. Paying that kind of money it had to look the part too. To be honest I was so close to buying the rally. I knew though I’d always be looking back at the SF though. 🤷♂️ if I could own both I certainly would . And a Panagale for the track !! 💸💸
There’s a gap in TH-cam video reviews. We need more proper reviews with 2 up riding as a lot of ADV riders tour 2up. Happy pillions make happy riders. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the new GS1300 but it would be great to compare 2up and hear pillion opinions.
Hay there, I agree with you, there is a gap in the market for 2 up reviews, this is why myself and Zoe have started doing these videos. I tend to do the full bike review, then we go out and just review the bikes capabilities and comfort whilst 2 up. This is something we are going to try and do more of this year, its just trying to find time to film them as we both have full time jobs on top of YT :)
Who the hell in his right mind would take this bike Off Road. It is $35,000 USD with tax, registration, Stealer Dealer's Processing Fee ($500), Set up Fee $500 and Ducati USA's terrible business practice of hiding the $795 Freight Charge from their MSRP to make the bike look cheaper. BMW is probably the only brand who does not hide the Freight. Also, with BMW you can negotiate the Set up Fee to pay Zero as Dealer's get reimbursed for that Job. Go out of town to a smaller Dealership where you will pay only a small Processing Fee like $200. I don't know you, but I am not that rich to trash a $35K bike on the dirt. It is a Touring bike at best, just like the GSA. You want to play on dirt, get a Honda CRF300 for $6K and dump it on the dirt all day long.
Its only going to be a small percentage of people using it off road lets be honest. how many sports bikes go on track days, who uses their divers watch for diving?did you get a cat to sort the mice out?
I own a GSA and I take it off road when ever I can. Your point isn’t really valid. If you can afford to take this off road then you’ll buy it. If you want to take it on tarmac only then you’ll get the standard multi and save cash dollar. Also not my fault USA’s seems to suck for buying bikes 😁
@@Ducatijay72 exactly, you don't go and look at one of these if you think you can't afford it. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't afford it, glad im allowed to ride them though, saves me pretending I can afford one :)
Well I guess I'm not in my right mind! I have a KTM 1290 that I ride across many state lines, and also ride off-road when I get there. The Honda CRF300 sounds great, but you left out the adventure part. Tell me you want to ride several hundred miles to a BDR in CO,AZ,UT,or MT on your trusty CRF300. I'll wait!! Safe travels.
Most unreliable modern motorbike ever made in the last decade, as soon as mine was 1 weeks out of warranty with 8,000 Klms on it I had to spend $7500 trying to fix the brakes and engine surging and now a further $5000 for new front forks plus a new Brake MC and ABS unit and all I hear from Ducati? Nothing, nothing but crickets. Paid $48.000 AUD 2 years ago, best trade in value $18,000 for a 2 yr old bike with 8000 Klms, that’s only 4900 miles.
Ducati V4 Rally the best motorbike ever made...hands down
Here here 😁🤙
Great video! What microphone do you use? I struggle trying to get the wind noise out of my videos!

Hi,
You've tried the GS1300. I've seen your review. If you pick up a bike now, which one do you prefer? V4 Rally or 1300GS?
Hay, personally ignoring the thought about taking either off road. Too expensive to drop and repair.
I’m going V4. 🤙🤙

I would be one such person. Because I want to and I can, and I’m not in my right mind

Dam that sucks mate. I’d still say KTM are worse than Ducati. My KTM got lasted 50miles before throwing its first engine light up 🤣🤦🏻
V4 more like show bike nice looking
I’d have it in my garage to show off any day of the week 😆🤙
