It's hilarious to me that Dancers can just bully Chaos so thoroughly that he's reduced to slap fighting. Before you even set foot in the Sea Shrine I was thinking the Kraken was 100% going to attack first just to be a jerk because the ladies have absolutely no chance of surviving that without landing polka first. Tiamat 2.0 tried the same thing but they lack Kraken's raw punch. Forbidden spin's effectiveness is kind of meh below 150% or so. It's above that point that you really start landing effects more reliably. Last Waltz can be absolutely disgusting (like OHKO Chaos levels of disgusting), but only if you have the right mix of classes and buffs to multiply its damage. With only dancers your physical attacks are almost always going to end up dealing more overall unless enemy absorb is very high, and even then Sword Dance can fix that. What's also disgusting is the number of attacks you get if you wait for someone to hit max bravery to use Haste Samba. Evilman always had NUKE. They just don't normally survive long enough to cast it because they're squishy compared to other monsters at this level. Masamune and MuraMASA were both swordsmiths, rather than the swords themselves, and MuraSAME is a legendary sword with water-based powers unrelated to either. There are tons of legends surrounding them, most of which conflict with each other, but the ones that games tend to focus on is that Masamune made holy swords while Muramasa made evil ones. Muramasa's sword is said to be immensely powerful but cursed such that once unsheathed, it must draw blood before it can be sheathed again, even if it has to turn on its owner.
So I guess the Dancers literally only equip Daggers. It's weird that you get two of the Katana though. I'm interested in both of the new classes. The Mystic Knight in FF5 can do some extreme damage if enchanted with the right spell. Will the next run also be the 1 Black Magic spell per level run?
Looking forward to demolishing chaos at the end of this epic video. Im ready!
I saw someone playing with the 2 new classes yesterday and they are really good
Your best leveling are the mummies in Astos' castle. They're very close to the exit, so you can save often, give good experience.

Yup, save for the masmune... Only daggers.
It was aimed to be a 1 black magic spell per level run. I just forgot and had to restart. XD
Haha its always been masmune in FF1, despite being masamune in every game thereafter (i think anyway…not 100% sure about famicom FF2 or FF3)
