Let's just put it this way, My Mum's Kelly bag, saved my butt! I needed $$$$ to leave a bad Situation, Took the Kelly bag w/original receipt to a fine goods auction, the bag brought in enough $$$$ so I could leave and get into a new residence, with a large enough cushion till I found a decent job.

The first purse I fell in love with was made by Hermes, don't recall the name (circa 2002, I was a freshman in college). Then I saw the price and said when I get older I will get one. 2022 and I still can't afford one.

For sure I admire the quality which has never slipped (like unfortunately, Chanel has) and that the bags continue to be handmade. Fabulous! The family Hermes worked hard for their success and offers an enduring purse. That said, I so dislike the strategy of making the bags exclusive and driving the price up to ultra-expensive that I'll never buy one. I would never drop that much money for one handbag, not to mention, be suckered into spending $1000s on prior goods just to be offered "the chance" of spending a ton of money on a company-created-and-by-design scarce Birkin. I only patronize businesses that treat everyone who walks in the door with friendliness and respect and let them have what they saved up their money and entered the store to buy. Period.

It's really sad. I make 'handmade crochet bags' and I sell one for like $120 US and I always feel bad because I think it's expensive. I would really like for all women to be able to purchase one but not everyone can afford them. Now, Hermes makes me feel good about my prices now... I guess

It’s a shame that currently , they are very rude to customers! I was at Harrods this summer, I wanted to buy a belt, which was there in front of me, the Hermes representative told me off and said I need to give him my phone number and they’ll call me in an hour to be attended too!!!! Really, I told him thanks but no thanks, I went to Valentino got a nicer belt (same price as the Hermes) but much much nicer customer treatment.

This video shows a laziness in editing, pronunciation, and fact-checking. The date you presented, "1928" for when the Hermès family moved to France is incorrect. They moved to France in 1828; 100 years earlier. If you are going to post videos that are meant to be biographical, please at least do the bare minimum in getting the dates correct. On pronunciation, no one is expecting you to suddenly become fluent in French, but a quick google or TH-cam pronunciation reference would've helped.

Versace -> Hellenic symbol, Medusa’s head
Hermes -> Hellenic name, the messenger God Ερμής / Ermís > Hermes
You should do a video about another jewellery brand, BVLGARI.
The founder Sotirios Vùlgaris was an immigrant from Hellas to Italy.
His name is pronounced Vùlgaris so the brand name must be pronounced as Vùlgari and not Bulgári.

In this world where the Google has advanced so much the Google Translate, it only takes a few second to learn a new word in a new language. How dare people keep saying things in their own wrong way whereas the audiance is not being respected and taken for a fool! Such a shame! So many errors in a short almost 12 minute TH-cam video.
