So even if there were hidden radar sites, they'll still be jammed by the electronic waves coming from the EC-130 or EA-18Gs.

And about the Growler, it operates the same as the other EW planes of the USN and USAF. Electronic Jamming is Area-Effect since jamming only a specific unit would hinder air operations where the attacker needs the enemy blind.
