Made in Virginia - Volvo Trucks & I.R. Engraving

On this episode, we head to the New River Valley to the largest private employer of southwest Virginia, Volvo Trucking, then we travel to Richmond, VA to visit IR Engraving. They create metal rolls used in various manufacturing processes to emboss, stamp and print materials for aesthetic and various texture applications.

Yes they do. In fact, I used to deliver brand new trucks from Dublin, Virginia then I quit then the company that I used to work for gave me 3 brand new Volvo 10 speed truck to drive. I put 300,000 miles on it then I quit.

no, volvo quit making manuals an option for trucks in 2017 because less than 5% of their customers ordered them.

You guys have to be ashamed because you didn't make any changes in the "flagship 860" cab, is almost 15 years old. BTW the materials you guys use on the interior are stiff, cheap plastic. Please take a look at the European version and compare with this one and let us know what do you think.

Custom made my ass! You go to dealer and they sell you whatever they have!
They all are diferent my ass! Ive seen the interior on other VNL's and they are as same as mine, so dont come with bullshit!
And they will always say that paint its best quality, the 2018 VNL i have, the paint its craking under the grill, they will always say that everything its the latest in technology!
And its funny how those guys are wearing dark glasses inside the sunny factory! That makes me think about quality 🤔
