Finding joy in my everyday life is hard for me..but i know the things I have to do and alter and rearrange to achieve greater joy..I'm just missing the strength and faith it takes to change things in my life..just for some peace and joy or even just to have a harmony in my surroundings.

Hello, lovely ladies. I so enjoy your chats! I’m an American who has seen so much change, division, and human unkindness in our country. We, collectively are a good natured group. We try to be fair. And, I am proud of so many things we have done for others. But. We are now in an era that has shown such ugliness, cruelty and unfairness. It seems apocalyptic. We need to hold leaders and financiers accountable. I often think of the movie, “The Wizard of Oz” and I feel like Dorothy. So many lines and scenes from this movie are like myths being played out on our stage. “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain”…”If I only had a brain, a heart, the nerve”…”you had the power all along…inside”…yes. We are coming to our reckoning. As a grandmother now, I tell my sweet grandkids about anti-war protests we staged during the war in Vietnam, sit-downs we had when Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated and activism that were dedicated to equal pay for women. We must have stopped far short of the mark because the payment is now due. I admit that I might have some trepidation here…I need to hold on to my love and my desire for answers and for harmony, even though I know we are facing great upheaval. It is reassuring to hear your conversation and your insights and your encouragement. Birth is messy and painful but carries it’s own reward. Blessing to you both. Keep the conversation going.🥰
