You can try adding some lubricant between the spring and the firing pin. The spring can catch on the pin while it's rotating and turn it back enough to not allow the bolt to catch.
This is awesome bro gonna build one, luckily I have almost everything but the rubber band. Also take your time bro, your dexterity level likes like its at 2 😂
Yo men this thing is crazy nice I print it and I am shock it work so good I print some things to assembly together and it don't fit but this fit perfectly and you have so fun play with this
LOVE THIS ALREADY MADE ONE BUT HAVNT GOT THE PARTS YET I COULD HAVE SWORN I SAW A PARTS KIT FOR THIS ON THINIVERSE WHICH MAKES IT WAY NICE AND EASY INSTEAD OF BUYING INDIVIDUAL PEICES BUT I CANT FIND IT AGAIN.. :( DO YOU KNOW HOW TO?
This model is on MakerWorld and you can easily buy the needed hardware parts from their Maker's Supply with the Bill of Materials -system: makerworld.com/en/models/652640#profileId-579437 🙂 Same with all my other free keychain blasters!
Either you have a layer adhesion problem or you're using rubber band that is too thick maybe? There isn't much room at the back of the slide so the hook isn't very big either, but it's fine for a 1mm thick band in my tests, even when printed in silk PLA.
Not much thicker one, but if the rubber band is too long, you can try cutting it shorter and sticking the knot inside the handle. I haven't tried myself though.
Hey, I’m your 1000th sub! It’s an honour, and congratulations! Love you designs!
Thank you!
This is super cool! Thank you :)
Looks super cool, I'll be adding it to my Jaatinen 3D gun collection soon 😄😄
this is awsome! great work! just made mine, sometimes the bolt doesnt lock back when i pull the slide but other than that its perfect!

I made this and the firing pin wont go into the chamber
You probably have some overextrusion happening.
It looked like if it printed well

the band breaks the hook on the slider every time, am i doing something wrong? the hook seems extremely weak

I keep breaking the slider hook when I take the supports off. When I do it I try to pull them a bit. Is there a better technique?
You can print the slide without supports!
Really mine were fine
will an m4 bolt work?
No, M4 is too big, unless you scale the whole model up and then it'll be too big for 6mm BBs.
What type of glue do you use
Tamiya Cement meant for scale models.
@@Jaatinen3D thanks
Where do you get the bbs?
Airsoft bbs
Whic mm sice do I need
5mm diameter spring 15-25mm long, M3x10 bolt at least, 6mm plastic airsoft BBs!
Make a real scale mac 10 semiauto
Good video👍
Is there any way to do this with a larger rubber band?
Not much thicker one, but if the rubber band is too long, you can try cutting it shorter and sticking the knot inside the handle. I haven't tried myself though.
