Also i wanted to know,is it possible for you to “update” the first bolt action rifle you made,so that it loads in the same way as this one?
I'll think about it! I do want to revisit the Bolt Action Rifle model at some point.
I know its a bit on the nose,but perhaps you could make some melee weapons that goes together with the guns you do? Maybe a shovel for this rifle,to give it a full soldier feel

Very Interesting. How long would you say this project took you?
Main part of it was in this video which is about 3 hours sped up to three minutes and then there was maybe another 3 hours of adding details and testing different magazine designs. So around 6-7 hours altogether.

Very nice, modelling is one thing, making it functional is another one. Im not even gonna try to do that in freecad lol
also,if i may suggest something else,i would say a flint-lock style pistol,since your models are front loaded anyway,it would be really neat,i believe
Flintlock pistol is on my list to make!

When I pull the slide I am using a screw not a bolt it doesn’t fall into place is it because I don’t have a bolt?
Are you able to pull the slide back enough so the screw moves down? If not, you might be using a spring that's too long or thick and it doesn't have enough space to compress enough.
@ yes I can pull it back all the way and the screw seems to be fine

How do you keep the graphite from rubbing off and showing the base color?
I don't know what you mean... 😅 All the parts are just printed in different colors, they're not painted.
@Jaatinen3D oh no, I mean when I put graphite on the white base coat some will rub off showing white. Does clear coating the graphite stop that?

Unnecessarily slow and painful. If I had a watch this first I would never have printed the bloody thing, out of views of watching TH-cam this is by far the slowest and most unprepared tutorial I have ever seen

Make ur bbs smaller. All of this guys designs I orinted shoot plenty far . U just have to either oil it or make sure ur spring is strong enuf . I bought a big bag of springs for these lol

the band breaks the hook on the slider every time, am i doing something wrong? the hook seems extremely weak
Either you have a layer adhesion problem or you're using rubber band that is too thick maybe? There isn't much room at the back of the slide so the hook isn't very big either, but it's fine for a 1mm thick band in my tests, even when printed in silk PLA.
Don't pull this out in front of a cop
Would they be scared of a finger sized toy pistol? 😅 Definitely don't pull out my Tickler pistols!
