One of the reasons why they were so filtered was kuz they are watercolor pencils (aka Aquarell). You should have tested them out with water and a paint brush. Aquarelle pencils supposedly are harder to layer.

She could have shattered the lead inside those pencils. My pencils are prismacolor colored pencils and I would never treat my $11 dollar set like that, hell I don't toss around my crayolas like that because shattering the leads is such an easy thing to do. She also needs to learn respect for other people's things.
Cristina the brand isn’t just the case. It’s that certificate and box saying it’s LV approved. You seriously think for 1 1/2 feet of designed leather and some colored pencils the entire cost would b 1000. All these luxury brands have such huge mark ups including LV

Ye i have a Caran Dache watercolor set with that paintbrush symbol. Also the colours are the exact same, they mustve partnered with them because the paintbrush symbol is the same and the colours are so similar

Faber Castell manufactures stationary and art supplies and they have researched for years to give the best they can.... And Louis Vuitton is a fashion brand so how would they know to make a perfect pencil in first attempt and I feel that they have made them cause rich can show off by buying them as they want more and more profits... Why would they worry about the quality as only rich people would buy them and not the professional artists... Cause there are many brands like Faber Castell Derwent Prisma color Staedtler Etc Who make best art supplies in the world..... For Louis Vuitton it just about making profits....
where i live 24 crayons pencils are 5 bucks and normally usual colouring pencils are only 1 , so i get annoyed that crayons are expensive let alone LV 😂
the LV are aquarell pencils, that you can aktivate for more effect with a tiny little bit water ... I think the FC, or crayola pencils are different and not the same - with, or without waterthings. check all these stuff on a paper for aquarell with a very good quality with a little bit water and you should see what they can oder not.

Yeah @NDB49, that's why I use Faber Castell, I prefer pencils that don't snap before they touch the paper. If you want something better than FB go to Caran d'Ache Luminance, not to Prismacolor.

Privileged Yo-yo it’s a plastic case so you’re paying $950 for the name licensing, a few bucks for the printed plastic case and fitments, and obviously the cheapest pencils around.
Willow Wildfire coupons!!!! I couponed to get mine! I mean money is money and when you’re broke every little bit has a place to go and that obviously isn’t prisma color. That being said, you can get the basic set at Michaels for like $24.99 and they do the online coupons (which you can sometimes get up to 60% off!). After that I’d do one at a time with coupons here and there for the colors you don’t have but find you are making a lot of.
Actually, I personally think that watercolor pencils are supposed to blend and color better, less fillers and stuff, less waxy, maybe more pigmented. So if you compare them to Albrecht Durers, the difference may be more drastic and the LV ones may get an F. Just saying.

Honestly if someone doesn't use an art supply in it's correct genre or form of art, you can't actually rate it or actually say it's good or bad, since you aren't using it for it's intended purpose.
Jesslyn Nicole They have paint brushes in them, and that usually means that they are meant for watercolor. Also it's a possibility they had trouble translating if well, considering LV is from a foreign country, that doesn't have English as its first language.
Do you use watercolor pencils? I do and a watercolor pencil can still blend and be used for shading dry. I have no idea why people are trying to justify colored pencils for a thousand dollars.
Watercolor pencils are supposed to give out a way better performance than a normal pencil. They're supposed to have better blending and pigment so when the water is applied, they won't have any issues.

These pencils were probably made by an actual pencil brand that knew what they were doing.
@@EzmeCM98 its a direct response why would i make a direct response as its own individual comment. and thats speculation, regardless of who made the formula, the company that made the pouch made the design for the pencils. they could of easily just slapped on a paintbrush with no further meaning or intent. as far as i can find, there isnt a single source that claims they are watercolor, and the constant stream of people asking the same thing got annoying fast, so i chose one comment (the first i found) and made a direct response to them and their inquiry

Willow Wildfire coupons!!!! I couponed to get mine! I mean money is money and when you’re broke every little bit has a place to go and that obviously isn’t prisma color. That being said, you can get the basic set at Michaels for like $24.99 and they do the online coupons (which you can sometimes get up to 60% off!). After that I’d do one at a time with coupons here and there for the colors you don’t have but find you are making a lot of.
Not to defend LV, but those are watercolor pencils. You should have compared them with Albrecht Durers.
Actually, I personally think that watercolor pencils are supposed to blend and color better, less fillers and stuff, less waxy, maybe more pigmented. So if you compare them to Albrecht Durers, the difference may be more drastic and the LV ones may get an F. Just saying.

Jesslyn Nicole They aren't made to be like colored pencils, or even be used just as that, their meant for specifically watercolor art. Honestly if someone doesn't use an art supply in it's correct genre or form of art, you can't actually rate it or actually say it's good or bad, since you aren't using it for it's intended purpose.

Jesslyn Nicole They have paint brushes in them, and that usually means that they are meant for watercolor. Also it's a possibility they had trouble translating if well, considering LV is from a foreign country, that doesn't have English as its first language.
Awe, I wish I saw this when it came out. The LV are water soluble. I would've liked to see them used to their full capacity.
I could probably make a prettier pencil case. I've worked with leather before. And just stick my Faber Castel set in it.

Do you use watercolor pencils? I do and a watercolor pencil can still blend and be used for shading dry. I have no idea why people are trying to justify colored pencils for a thousand dollars.
Watercolor pencils are supposed to give out a way better performance than a normal pencil. They're supposed to have better blending and pigment so when the water is applied, they won't have any issues.
