    I am so glad you went into depth on the vapour blasting cabs! I hate the dust from my media cabinets and want to switch them over. Also that dust/oil filter is genius, I might have to pick your brain on that one! Thanks for the tour!

      I used metal filters for the first 2 because i was worried about hot sparks lol. You may be better off buying the WEN air filter for about $150. My blower fan was about $120 alone.

    I like the vapor blasting.about the gun printed was interesting
    Can you do a part 1 and a part2 instead of condensed version.
    Explain your 3D printer and material you use for the making of the vapor blasting gun
    Thanks for sharing, outstanding video

    Thanks for sharing . . . First time I have seen the vapor blasting set-up, the back stories & details add a lot, all valuable content. You are & have to be creative to get a small business off the ground these days. I am also working on custom tooling to build a knife I can sell for under $200. The engineering & testing that goes into these production tools is way more than most would believe.

      Yeah knives are tough to produce. There’s a lot of different skill sets you need to get down. Making one knife by hand is “easy” making a bunch of knives as close to the same as possible is a lot harder.

    Nice workshop bro I’m looking at cnc machines but I have all manual as I’m just starting out. I wish I had gring equipment and not just a pedestal grinder and an angle grinder.

      Yeah you need at least a 1x30 grinder to make blades. A 2x72 is much much better though. If you haven’t seen it, go check out Aaron goughs channel, where he shows how to make knives with a file! Lowest cost way to get into Knifemaking probably.

    Hello, nice workshop! I have to change my 10k fadal spindle as well. Do you recommend me to buy the remanufactured its spindle (like yours, I think) or the new one? Thank you

    • @IronForestKnives
      @IronForestKnives  ปีที่แล้ว

      I got my spindle as a rebuild from ITS for about $2800 and I feel it was a good choice

    Something is wrong with your phase converter. I have AD25 and you cant hear it next to the machine.

      Really? Can you take a decibel rating about 3 feet away from it? Lol mine measures 70db.
      I can’t hear mine while the Fadal is running either. It’s just when it’s idling that it’s bothersome.

      @@IronForestKnives according to my Apple Watch is 60. 70 is not horrible I guess it sounds worse in the video. It’s almost like you have some high pitch noise coming out. I can’t hear mine because I have two machines, AC unit and compressor right outside the door. Also my Hurco has a chiller that’s louder than phase converter. I just realized phase converter is a bit louder when it’s just running on its own.
