Mine as well. And as an artist... IDK what kind of chart your friend was looking at, but white is not a warm color. It's not a cool color either; The entire black to white family is considered neutral. If you look at a color wheel, warm colors are red-orange-yellow and cool are green-blue-violet. An argument could be made for white being "cold" when talking about lighting, but white is generally considered the ideal neutral point there as well. Tangent aside. Really fun video.
@@smusky4643 I'm like 99% sure this is a troll, but just in case it isn't, thermal camera colors are decided by people, so technically it could go from white at the coldest to yellow to green to purple to black. In terms of real life, funnily enough, the hotter something is, the colder its color becomes. It goes red-orange-yellow-white-blue, then purple/violet (which interestingly, is where a color wheel wraps around back to warm, but I digress).
Yet another banger recommanded a year after its release, personally would have liked more if we as viewers had to guess alongside the guests, but as a clueless hunter it was really funny to see the last discourse while knowing which mantle it was !
I really like the idea of the guessing game. It could take a bit of refinement. Maybe construct a full actual quiz for either people to take or find one you could take yourself.
What would had made this video more interesting is if you had gotten both Lucent and violet mantles and made your friend guess both mantles *Edit* actually now that i say that you should totally do that when wilds gets its master rank for the hell of it XD

I have a question I doubt anyone here has thought of before. What in the world is a "mantle" to begin with? To clarify, in monster anatomy, where in the world do mantles/ orbs even come from? Is the mantle a big scale? Are orbs the monster's heart? Like what? All other parts have at least some semblance of reason.
It usually says in the description of the mantle what it is, like for lucent naegacuga it says its a blade wing, I don't know of any other ones for other monsters but I assume that it's just some rare item from the monster
Most rare drops are either a gem that formed inside the monster (like a pearl) or a scale that's grpwing the opposite way, which has roots in dragon mythology and is why Alatreon drops plates and mantles instead of scales
I thought if they guess wrong they would have to sell a rare, valuable item in their item box. Like for example If they have rathalos gemx20 they would have to sell all of them or you'll have to sell yours. All of it if they guess wrong 😂

They are the rarest monster material it was never a power boost
