For anyone confused Primordial, Velkahna, Violet, Lucent, and the apexes can all be secondary targets in investigations.
malzeno moveset is so interesting for me, because its look more like a knight than a beast
wing webbing as a shield
wing claw as a sword
and tail as a spear
its combo using the combination of wing shield charge and tail stab look like a real knight

Funny note: when it reach to it's blood-lust form, it is immune to specific conditions.
Which is Marionette Spider, Puppet spider, Wyvern Riding and flash bomb. Meaning, P.Malzeno has no counterplay to punish/interrupte his moves forcing hunters to counter a specific moves or keep dodging or the most important recommendations, *Git Gud*
I wasn’t convinced that the M.spider didnt work while fighting hazard til i tried at least 10 time to use it, inevitably lead to my downfall

Well, it's not about quest time. It's about P.Malzeno's hp, when he reaches about 20 ish per cent of its hp, that where the specific conditions have been nullified to make the hunt more dangerous
Unless if you've already known that experience

This thing took me 17 attempts to beat its story version with Fio. 17 attempts...later decided to challenge him again without any external help (followers/buddies)...45 minutes and one cart left. I was sweating bullets xD
Fun fight with Heavensent Dual Blades,but the guy is just way too relentless with his attacks and HP pool makes the hunt a real endurance run.
I was about to give up before I discovered how OP Heaven-Sent is with DB

I beat him using heaven-sent 3, partbreaker 3 and blood rite 3 as skills. Combined they allowed me to beat him without carting. I used the Sliver Slicers to get even more hp from hitting him
I don’t know how you managed to beat this without using new gear from title update monsters 😅
You get REALLY good. There's a guy who's beaten the game's hardest fights with just a Long Sword and Quick Sheathe 3.

wanna know something funny i didn't know the hazard one was a special one at first 😂 i just farmed it because i wanted the armor/weapon and it was in a arena 😂

Even if you had 1000 or more defense, he could still one shot you. I would know since I had over 1000 defense and still fainted.
Yeah, of course. Defense does very little in this game and MH in general. There's a chart for every interval of 25 DEF between 100 and 1,000, inclusive, but here's some hightlights for blademasters:
700 (lower than normal for endgame even with reductions aplenty): 10.26%
800 (normal with many augs that reduce DEF a lot and MoH 3):
9.09%
900 (also pretty normal with augs reducing and MoH 1-3): 8.16%
1,000 (still no big deal to reach without any boosters, MoH, and moderate reductions from augs): 7.41%
The higher you get your DEF, the more depressing its value becomes. Those Mega Armorskins, Adamant Seeds, and Armorpowders are giving you less than 0.1% damage reduction.
Don't be like MH TH-camrs. Save yourself a lot of anxiety.

@@ivaldi13About the defense formula. An attack with a motion value of 1000, which is common in MR, will do 91 damage with 800 defense and 74 damage with 1000 defense. 91 is 23% more than 74.
@@yaroslavromanyuk5669 I'm not sure where you're getting your formula, but even if that's exactly right, you went from a two-shot to *still a two-shot*, which exactly proves how useless excess DEF is.

Imagine primordial malzeno with a damage amplifier like those afflicted monsters on anomaly quests. 😢
I use Poison/Paralysis Powder Kinsects. I'm truly a Hunter with no honor.
Technically the only way Primordiap could be harder is if it was the secodary monster in a 2 monster Special Investigation (more monsters = less health between them all so only 2). I got an special investigation with a Primordial and Risen Shagaru and unironcially took me around 10+ attempts
That sounds both hella painful yet quite fun to say the least 😮
Dang, i struggled a lot with gaismagorm, idk how i will do with most of the endgame monsters 0_0
The earlier ones are do able out the gate, anything past chaotic might give you trouble
I used Heaven sent Dual Blades and beat hazard PriMal on my first attempt and I only carted once. He can't kill me if he can't hit me, after all.
Sadly primordial malzeno is not in the investigations rather he can appear as a normal monster in the multi anomaly investigations
i have the anomaly quest with him as 2nd monster

hehehe in perspective Prim Malzeno is a honarable dragon while he is being attacked by us, he is prefering to let us hunter have a opening and strugle with the qurio then to go on full simbiose and beat us with a power boost
Ok Major Tip For Primaoal Malzeno the Air Slash Roll Forward to Avoid that Attack
I had 1200 defense and it still almost one shotet me with its attacks, some attacks even did one shot me at full health.
This hazard is undercoocked tbh
And dude using Raw/Power phial switch axe... Making this even harder
If he was weak against Dragon element, why not just your most powerful Dragon SA?
Why did you only have your Palamute at the beginning? Is their a reason to only bring one partner?

its funny that u, as a very good hunter, said u just found out his weakness is dragon, when it was clear as day that one of his weakness was dragon. Every elder dragon with dragon attacks is weak to dragon, but sometimes u just cant see the obvious

i actually beat hazard prime zeno on my first attempt no faint
I beat this hazard with 2k+ defense GS,but tbh Prime still hit hard
Phoenix mode in first try is far better than what I did 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I sont how i beat this guy first try, i did not use dango defender, and i only caeted once, all i did was run most of the time to not get hit, so it dod take 35 minutes
I did actually beat this first try but I did do it on multi player
monster hunter rise is why easy mode/accessibility shouldn't be allowed. People complain that the game is too easy and then get rage because of the spirit bird.
Great fight. People suck at it though (I suck at it).
I actually think the hazard quest is easier
It's because of the Farcasters. When trying to leave to another zone during his final phase, Primordial Malzeno will teleport to that area and punish you for cowering. Which prevents players from leaving to camp unless they have a Farcaster they crafted
