This is my new favorite channel. I've heard other channels claim to use normal ingredients and kitchen equipment and then pull out some rare herb that can only be found in a deserted island once you complete several ancient Incan and Aztecan puzzles and escape two tigers and a bear. But I HAVE these ingredients and equipment which just shows you do this because you like it and want people to be able to do it. I also like the interaction with fans.

I made this ice cream last night for the first time. I added a large home made p butter cookie covered w chocolate and added somer chopped dark chocolate chunks since i had a few left from recipes. Spooned it in a couple containers (Didn't realised it made so much, lol) and decorated it with what was left of chocolate n cookie crumbs. Let it freeze overnight and BAM!- OMG so nummmmmiez. I had my doubts but YUM! So doing this again! ty ty ty! will also try making this with your condensed milk recipe. Namaste!

OMG! I just made your ice cream and WOW! It took no time at all in my stand mixer. And only TWO ingredients! Whaaaaatt?? Looked in my pantry for mix-ins. So I made s'mores with chocolate chips, marshmallow cream and crushed graham crackers. My next creation is what I will call chocolate caramel cake ice cream. All I did was use one of those one minute mug cakes, let it cool, broke it up in chunks, folded it together and added a ribbon of caramel. The third one is just the vanilla base. Hubby loves vanilla!! The base is so delicious all by itself that I'm not sure we can wait until tomorrow night to have it. YUMMY!!

I just made this. I did three favors: vanilla (added vanilla extract to the base), strawberry (got some fresh strawberries, mashed them up a little, and added it to my base), and chocolate butterscotch vanilla swirl (I know, a lot of flavors, and I did this by melting choc chips and mixing it to the base, melted some butterscotch chips and mixed it into some more base, then swirling the vanilla, choc, and butterscotch ice creams gently so that I got a nice swirl.). I can't wait until these come out of the freezer!! 🍦thanks for the great recipe.

For the people who don't have a machine: You can put the cream in a container then put a lid on it (make sure it's super tight) and then just shake it for 5-10 minutes. It's A LOT harder and more time consuming, I recommend you stretch before doing it, but it's all you can do if you don't have a machine. And take a break if you want.
    Hope this helps!

My mom tried the strawberry cheesecake and she loved it so now we have 5 jars of it in my freezer, 3 birthday cake, and 8 honeycomb. (P.S. My dad went crazy for the honeycomb) Thanks again, Gemma. My family now wants me to help out with catering for my mom's friend!! Hurray!

Wow! This recipe looks so much easier than the one I tried a few years ago. I tried making ice cream using whipping cream, regular milk and then using two freezer bags; one with the whipping cream/milk, placed inside of the other bag with the rock salt and shaking the bag for what seemed like hours. All the while my hands hurting from the frigid cold bags. In the end the ice cream turn out. It was a definite fail. So I'm excited to try your recipe and experimenting with all of the different flavor options!

I made some, with some trepidation I might add, for my partner who is from Laois (I'm English Canadian, live in England, much to my chagrin) and to say he's picky is an understatement! Anyways, I made him mint choc chip: used peppermint flavouring, green food colouring, and slivers of Cadbury dairy milk and he LOVED IT! Said the shavings were just right (he dislikes chunks of, well, anything!) I also made banana & Coconut with sweetened coconut flakes, and he loves that too! Thanks, Gemma, for the recipes! I've now got him thinking what other flavours he'd like to try, just hope he doesn't go for meat and potatoes, lol ❤️ On the strength of his feedback (which is high praise indeed) I've become a new subscriber 👍🏻

I just want to thank you. This video had inspired me to try going into the ice cream business. The uniqueness and straight forward nature really resonated with me. My dream is to open a cat lounge that serves ice cream on the side. My business name is Feline Purrfect Ice Cream (the Feline is a pun on Feeling. Feeling Purrfect). For the past two years I went on an expedition to see if I got what it took. I mostly stuck with farmer's markets to test out my product.
It was a rather brutal start with the regulations, needing at least five or more different licenses, finding a commercial kitchen, insurance, labels, etc. The worst of all needing to pasteurize already pasteurized heavy whipping cream/sweetened condensed milk with an over priced VAT Pasteurizer. I stuck through all of it and only really took four months to start up production. My end flavors are Strawberry Amaranth, Chocolate Fennel, Five Chocolate Brownies, Peanut Butter, Georgian Pecan Brownies, Horchata, Ube, Pandan, Chocolate Dates, Coconut Kale, and Vanilla Cilantro. Surprisingly people really enjoyed the uniqueness that my flavors brought.
Sadly I need to close up my little farmer's market stand. The first big blow that I couldn't get over is needing to pasteurize already pasteurized dairy product (the reasoning is absurd). The 2nd blow is thinking too unique with the pun with my business name (a decent amount of folks thought I sold ice cream for cats). I don't regret that part, since I love cats, ice cream, and puns. The last is not making enough to cover all the various costs. But! I had an amazingly fun two years meeting people and knowing my product made some peoples' hard day just a little easier. Thank you for sticking with my rant, and helping me feel inspired for two years. Cheers.
