"Oh Danny Boy" - Last week, I practiced with the accompaniment, and this week, I'm focusing on recording practice. I'm rediscovering the technique of hitting high notes softly. Back when I performed as a music major at the University of Alaska Anchorage, the head of the music department praised me for my ability to sing high notes softly, and now, the accompanist also agrees that it's better to keep the high notes subtle. It seems like I'm seeing the benefits of working with a new vocal coach. 😊
