It was absolutely crazy in Raymond Terrace NSW. I can see a power line on a total bend out my kitchen window and a few trees down. It's so quiet now.
Power has been out since 10pm. That was a little scary.

Welcome to the new norm of more frequent and more extreme global weather.
We better adapt quickly because it's only gonna get worse.

these storms is been going on all night, the powerful electricity in the air was so loud, had just completely shut off my power for a few minutes then it came back on. but when the sheer force of this rain that came in including with the wind and storm in my area of the south west in sydney was intense. that felt scary for sure being in that type of weather. I'm not used to it either, it's a new year, it can't be that hot all the time. but its like when u get these weather's everywhere, it's a whole lot of flooding & destructive damage in its path. I feel like it's no coming back from that at all. after this became a large destructive storm that was a whole lot of crazy on a hot scorchy Wednesday afternoon.

It was a spectacle, was able to see the lightning and it was beautiful. I'm sorry for those negatively affected by the storms, but the streaks of white lightning in the dark sky was just phenomenal

@@raymondqiu8202 the implications however are that the weather is become more extreme and uninhabitable, and fast. My earlier comment was tongue-in-cheek but it was the truth. Buckle up, our final years will be a bumpy ride.

It seems to rain a lot on the east coast, even in summer, am I right? Is this usual? I’m on the west coast.
