- I was dreading doing this sensor as it appeared that the CP3 had to be pulled and I couldnt find any videos covering it, I'm happy to share with you that theres a much quicker way of doing it!

I really appreciated this video. Always good to know what needs to be R&R'd before you tackle the job.
Thank you!
Thanks for another informative video Eric! Can't wait to see that dart puffing black!
Any tricks I’m missing I replaced the crank sensor in my 06 5.9. Was getting intermittent long crank every once in awhile. Figured I’d change sensor which it was pretty beat up . After changing don’t run. So I have the new sensor for the cam shaft I swap them out . Still nothing
Is thjs bank one or two?
Im getting a p0008 could this code be associated with one of these sensors ? All advice appreciated.
From what I can find it sounds like it could be? “P0008 is a generic OBD-II code indicating an issue with the engine control module (ECM) detecting a variation in the mechanical timing between the crankshaft and bank 1 camshaft.”
So I would get a scanner that can output real time values and see if the “actual” values match the “requested”
what was your rig doing
Wouldn’t start unless I rigged a switch up to the starter to turn it over for a real long time
