Hey legends, this is one of my favorite stories that I’ve wanted to cover for a while - hope you enjoy! 🍌 Here is the link to part 2: th-cam.com/video/hJlqwOIiN4g/w-d-xo.html (The Disturbing Business of Bananas) 🚀 How I got 1,500,000+ subscribers & built a 7 figure business with TH-cam: magnatesmedia.com (Revealing My FULL TH-cam System) Thanks to Brave for making this video possible. You’ve become one of, if not the best storyteller on TH-cam. Your editing is on point, historically accurate, and the story is always fascinating. Thank you.
You should really do a story about billionaires that lose everything like Ireland's richest man who built a cement empire and then lost $6B through overly risky decisions and ended up back on the same street he grew up on. Seriously, not all big risks pay off and all these channels make it seem like big risks always = big rewards. There should really be at least a few realist stories about when big risks blow up. The cement guy had an amazing story, but the difference between him and this banana dude is that his big risks taken (while already rich) cost him his empire instead of growing it further. I'm just saying, perspective is important and we shouldn't overly glorify wild risk taking.
I remember watching this channel when it was at 90k subs in school on my laptop, it’s crazy how it feels like just yesterday this channel was at 90k and now it’s at a million, i just wanna say thank you to the creator of these videos you’ve really helped me get through schools and many days I’m sooo glad this channel is doing soo good 😭😭
This caught my attention because my Uncle Max also immigrated from Russia, arriving in Pittsburgh around 1930. After serving in the Army, he began a banana distributing business, and married my Dad's sister. They had a nice life, and I remember how positive & generous Max was, giving me a silver dollar every time we visited (mid - late 1950's). Sadly, he died of a heart attack at the age of 52. I was 10 years old, and I wish I had gotten to know him better, if he had not died so young.
This is the type of stuff they need to be teaching in schools. It bothers me to no end that they don't teach things that matter or will actually help them in day to day life.
I've been following the journey of this channel for many years now. I spend about 10 hours per day on TH-cam Premium between work, driving, and working from home, and I gotta say, this is my favorite channel. Top quality on all fronts.
There's is a Dominican TH-cam Channel run by a German guy who loves the country. He made a video about The Octopus and it's involvement on the governments. That video is focused on the actual fruit instead of the business so I'm glad you made this video so we can have a better understanding.
I made piles on RuneScape following Zemurray's methods but this was during the height of the 00s when bots from China were creating resources which they disposed off in the general stores. I made money, folliowing Banana Man's methods - take then goods across the game world, selling them for a profit. It was, like this show, total bananas.
@@meilinchan7314 That's great. I'm not into MMOs myself, but I find the economics of them hilarious. Like a friend told me how while waiting for world bosses to spawn in WoW, an entire caravan of people would gather and start opening up kiosks, creating a marketplace on the spot. I thought it was funny af.

Thank you very much for showing us such an incredible and little-known story, I discovered your channel a short time ago and I immediately loved it. Please keep creating quality content like these.
I am just starting to watch but I thought the Banana King was going to be the investment banker guy who ended jumping off the top of the building in Manhattan.
Congratulations for a million subs🎉🎉🎉 I never skip your ads ,so you can make some money from adsense for your incredible videos Keep up your good work😊😊
If you don't look at the horrible massacres he caused, Sam Zemurray has a very inspiring story. He came to America with no money, managed to save a few hundred dollars, found a hole in the market, and made millions battling monopolies
Cliffhanger ?!?!? no fair!! you should've put 1/2 in the title so I can binge both together.. Well.. I guess I also have a fish memory, so I can just watch this one again ;p Love your stuff!!

It's a story that's been told by quite a few. I would rather see something that hasn't been covered (ad nauseam) before.
