I love the mod a lot,played with it today and while it ain't much it changes the gameplay entirely!
Finally a fair minecraft temperature mod with actual creativity put into it
This mod has features I want for Tough as Nails (the insulated armors mainly) but it lacks a crucial part to why I like TaN despite it's faults, it's the thirst bar lol. Also the wool parka too I guess, that thing looks cool.
tan has an enchantment for armor that reduces temperature influence
I’d like a thirst bar feature too or at least a mod compatible with Cold Sweat that adds a thirst bar

A review on More Minecarts and Rails or/and Pneumaticcraft Repressurized (Still a bit buggy) would be great as they are both quiet big and complex mods and there are no (or only outdated) reviews on yt

Tough as nails has nothing on the complexity of this mod. Pair it with one of the many thirst bar mods and you have a solid replacement.

Been trying out this mod and certainly a heck of a challenge. I am just trying to find out how to refuel the Lantern. I have the warped stems but cant seem to put it in the lanterns, how is it done?

fun fact:for some reason cold sweat thinks that tardis (from new tardis mod) has very low temperature. so low that you start to die
Theory: maybe the Tardis is technically another dimension or near the void which is considered cold

@@pufferfish9166 It might be a dimension thing then, I used the latest version of cold sweat and used another dimension mod, "Blue skies" and slowly started freezing to death
If it is a dimension issue there is a config for dimensions in world_temptures.toml and it allow you to change the temperature for both dimensions and biomes

So the mod got updated, and now the soulspring lantern needs soulsprouts. I searched both in Minecraft and Google for a long time but there’s nothing about where they spawn and I can’t seem to find them in game. Does anyone here know where these things spawn?
I got them from my questbook but they should spawn in the nether, they can only grow on soulsand and benefit from being near heat :)

Nah, but I wish. Been thinking about a Frostpunk themed pack for a while now, that’s less… *intense*, let’s say, than Winter Rescue. Using stuff like this, MineColonies, Immersive Engineering and custom Create schematics and/for multiblocks.
Still an intense experience - thinking to gate most of Create behind IE Steel while lacking all but basic heating - but still. Not nearly *as* tediously grindy.
(Like I’ll ever make it. Don’t have the know-how)
There is a create addon for air conditioner now.
This mod is would be my favorite if i coud turn it off
