Jhampa66 ..sir if U use my methord,then there is no need to open ignition coil box and the engine will not crank in case the switch is off... u may need double pole single thorugh switch also called DP switch but it depends upon the wires behind ignition switch.

A blown fuse. whenever we pass current without enough load it causes a short circuit. That is what you will be doing it you kill the engine from the switch,to solve this you need to add a switch only in positive wire (1 way switch or 2 wire switch) and leave the negative as it is.
