Jhampa I installed this rpm meter in my activa 5 months ago. It was working fine as I installed it the same way you showed. But yesterday i came to know that this meter is nothing but a piece of shit. It ruined all my wiring and after alot of inspection I came to know that all these were caused by the same rpm meter which was attached to the ignition coil. Viewers I would personally suggest all of you not to use this meter and if you are using it please uninstall this as soon as possible if you want your wiring to last. Anyways jhampa good work!!

My bike is kawasaki 100 CC 1985 and it's coil is 6 volts,but I install a 12 volts battery on my bike.
As you know my bike is 2 stroke an it's ignition system is magnet (not CDI).
Now,my question is:
Can I use this tachometer for my bike?
