    I use diluted washing-up liquid. It's cheaper and works fine! A simple matter of surface tension. Works on bathroom mirrors after a shower, too.

      It don’t matter if he is showing off the tools. My concern is the efficiency of the dust collector. It looks like the sucking power is not there, there. Tools👍🏼, cyclone looks 👍🏼, efficient 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

      @petediaz2388 it looks Ike a 4" tube off of a harbor freight type unit. I've got one. Using the 3" makes it work much better, but overall it's still a good system. Mine keeps up with my 10/20 sander, or my planer or table saw. Haven't tried it with my lathe yet, and my system isn't that good as this dudes ! That table saw addition is what I want!

    Cyclone dust collection devices represent a great improvement for a healthy woodshop environment, and yours appears to work extremely well, Mr TAK. Congratulations. Also it looks as if you can use it without a bag attached to your wall-mounted vacuum power unit.
    But is no very fine dust at all being ejected into the air? By now you would know whether deposits of dust are accreting in your shop.
    Before viewing your video, I was considering how to wall-mount my Makita 410 dust collector drawing air through a cyclone unit, but turned 90° with the dust bag attached underneath. Therefore, knowing about ejected fine dust is relevant. It would be convenient to forego hanging the bag onto the power unit.

    • @carpentak
      @carpentak  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for your valuable comments. My new cyclone dust collector is working very well and the air once filtered from this cyclone is blown out of the building. Of course, a dust collecting bag is installed outside, and fine dust can be found. However, the dust collector connected to the outside also functions as a ventilation fan, so the air in the workplace is maintained pleasantly.

      It improves the separation function of the cyclone. It is effective when the entrance is narrower than the exit. And if you narrow it down to a curved shape like this, the whirlwind becomes stronger.

      Да, и еще, можно было увеличить скорость вращения потока за счет сужения вниз всей камеры, сделать его конусом. А здесь есть один недостаток, это отверстие на крышке бака куда падают опилки, в этом месте образуются не нужные турбулентные потоки, из за которых часть пыли не падает в бак, а улетают дальше в пылесос.

      It is an outlet power remote control. With that I turn the dust collector on and off. This is an IKEA product.

    Мда, инструмента по стоимости на много денег, значит и производство не гаражное, отсюда: циклон с улиткой надо мощнее и разводку по всему цеху.
    Для меня лично и гаража более удачная конструкция у Михаила с HeArtWood c щелевым циклоном- и проще и меньше.

    Thousands of dollars worth of tools to save a bit of dust after you sucked up alot of dust HMMMMM......

    • @silasgroenning
      @silasgroenning 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea, cause the tools where bought only to this specific purpose, and ofc. Not just a neat great option to build, once youhad the tools. Besides all the money saved in dustbags, as well as all the time consuming changing, and not exposing your main engine for to many dust particles, that will bypass filters.. yea.. a great waste.. i understand your lack of perception.

    Using the fence on your table saw as a ‘stop’ to cut the panel is extremely dangerous. You will have ‘kick back’ when the saw blade catches the cutoff piece. It will be thrown back at you and serious injury is possible. I know this from experience.
