The Fujifilm 18-120mm f4 lens is made for video - my results weren't great - did the update fix it?

Fujifilm has recently released a firmware update for the 18-120mm f4 lens plus also for a number of camera bodies as well. The purpose of the update was primarily to correct tracking issues.
When I first bought this lens for video, along with the X-S10, I had a lot of problems with tracking. Did the firmware update correct this, and if so, how well?
