Chiedza's Song: In Support of the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing

This short film is in part about the Chiedza's Song project. But it ties the project into worldwide research on adolescent health collected and published by a Lancet Special Commission. The commission looks at a wide range of issues affecting the health of young people, including epidemics like HIV, family disintegration and violence.

About Us:
Picturing Health works in countries around the world using film and art to improve public health. We make innovative interactive films to train and motivate health workers, turn quantitative research and qualitative research into practice, inform and empower patients, spark community debate and change attitudes towards healthcare. Our projects cover topics from HIV, TB and diabetes, to emergency medicine and mental health awareness. We use art in our videos and art therapy for mental health.
Our films are distributed via our website and various social media platforms. They have been shown in health facilities, on large screens to communities, through television health campaigns and current affairs programmes.
