I think it would have been interesting to know the history of ownership. Both Ike & Tina have been gone for years. When did they purchase it? How long did they live together here? When did they both leave? How is it that this house still has original furnishings especially the bedroom set? Did someone inherit it that was a relative and kept it? These are burning questions I have! 😊
Ike sold the house completely furnished and the new owner did little to change it. I recall hearing the only change was the sofas were recovered, they were red velvet originally. What we see in this video is a later 60's remodel.
I just watched a video where some people where taking some "pieces and things that were left there by Tina and Ike" of the house , I guess before renovations... not sure. It was pretty cool video to see but wondered how they were able to take those items and how were they still there. They were really lucky!
That garage is where Tina kept her Jaguars. If anyone saw the documentary 'Ike and Tina On the Road' part of it was filmed inside this house. Her kids were really young then and hanging out by the pool and in the living room. I think it was filmed in 1971.

My Name Believe they stayed in two houses. That one looks like a ranch, and the one pointed out to me at the time, was a much larger home that looked like a Castle on the outside. Lived in the area 1970's. It was a white stucco home.Lived two streets over. Nancy Wilson lived in the area too.
Yes they bought the house and all the furnishings in it directly from Ike everything is the same except they got the couches reupholstered in a different fabric

@@IWeasel She said it was "one of her favorites"......One of mine, too......The movie was so realistic is what makes it "a favorite".....Tina worked along Angela B with dance moves, it was all of Tina's singing, they used her own house which was AMAZING to be able to use it in the film, the pool area was Tina's, so much of it was REAL, unlike other biographies. The abuse from Ike was horrifying, but they krpt it real....I keep remembering the scene where Ike drags her doen the hallway screaming at her with a houseful of guests.....Breaks my heart just thinking about that scene......And in the end Tina rises above it all and shines.

PART TWO i think in the USA and in Canada were i live people treat old vintage homes like it a disease and they got to get rid of the inside because....eeewwww it dated or tear it down like my example of a nice one of a kind 1957 home i happen to cross paths as i never saw anything like it before it was different and a work art it was clearly beautiful, i fell in love when i saw and dream of owning it but one day someone bought it gutted the inside, at first i thought that was the only thing they were going to do, and when i didn't see the 1957 home for a good while i decided to pass it one day to see was was going on with the house and to my shock it was torn down, i felt like somebody pUNch me in the gut because of a home i love so much, a real shame when u see people do these things

The house "felt spooky" because of all the bad juju that's attached to it... But it is a neat house, nontheless. Anyhow... The house has since been completely gutted-out and somehow renovated. I always wondered if whoever owns it now has had to have a Healer come over and chase the weird energy out of it?

Because removing lead and asbestos isn't cheap. Plus, you need major updates.

That house is dark and depressing just like Tina's life back then Ike Turner was a mean man
cant believe they changed it up I would have kept as is with a few minor up grades I would loved to had the stereo Equipment do you know who ended up with it defintley like the vintage look better then what it looks like now
richard abney I have the phone from the kitchen it’s amazing to have because I love “lil Anne” and I was born and grew up on bradna dr in view park ,this house is right by where I used to catch my school bus! And it’s so funny people would kill to live here (the black Beverly Hills )to have the lifestyle but it was nothing to her ,because of Ike ,,,,,very sad

I'm pretty sure that Ike and Tina bought that house in the early Sixties and then Tina had enough and left in the early Seventies.
The house "felt spooky" because of all the bad juju that's attached to it... But it is a neat house, nontheless.
Anyhow... The house has since been completely gutted-out and somehow renovated.
I always wondered if whoever owns it now has had to have a Healer come over and chase the weird energy out of it?
