That has pissed me off for years when they dont. I remember a time when I was 18 and I had open heart surgery. A couple of years later I was stressed to the max and I was just told to change my job or get away from any stress in my life. Well life isn't as easy as that. So a few weeks later when I was having a check up on my post op, the doctor told me my blood pressure was way to high and I reminded him I was experiencing a lot of stress in my life. I was put on beta blockers !!!!!

I went into a LOT of valuable info about cortisol and stress and the body's organs and the brain - and the substance behind why lemon balm works. Oddly, one of the most valuable videos on stress and what it does in the body chemically and medically and how to combat it that I've seen.

I had to ingest THC throughout my PhD just so I could function & stay sane. I tried Lemon balm tea just as you suggested. And with it I also had ~1/2 cup of kefir as you suggested & don't even remember dozing off. I slept like a baby THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT for the first time naturally since I was a child basically. Hello Dr Berg,
I would like to offer you my most profound gratitude. I am a young male of 21, who has been caught in a terrible, and inevitably deadly cycle as I've recently come to realise. I have been dealing with lack of sleep, depression, motivation, energy, purpose and many more illnesses. Most recently I had corona virus which I dealt with quite badly for a few days and just as I came to recover I now have been diagnosed with a kidney infection, being shelled out painkillers even though I never mentioned pain.
Over the last three days I have been heavily researching and learning from your videos, and most importantly adapting it to my lifestyle. I purchased the most wonderful healthy foods including organic red meats, fish, oils, and most importantly for me, vegetables. I've come to learn I was severely deficient in a number, far too high mind you, of vitamins.
I combed through your videos on symptoms of vitamin deficiency and accordingly adjusted my diet to encompass the foods you recommended.
The results quite frankly have been astounding, jarring and shocking.
Quite literally overnight, I feel so immensely better I could type on end about the benefits. I have this beautiful wave of calmness I never once had, alongside my vision which has always been poor and getting worse more than likely due to diabetes, undiagnosed of course, is now suddenly far superior and vivid. My anxiety has dropped several fold too the point I am making conversation with ordinary people I was always far too anxious too communicate with, even though often imperative. My skin, always a cause of grief and misery has cleared up immensely and is radiant. My cognitive function is through the roof, I notice myself being far superior at problem solving along with school work. No other person of any persuasion can dare convince me this diet is unhealthy with the results I am reaping. I am currently implementing in the steps to reduce the damage to my liver and kidneys and am following the keto diet with your guidelines in reference to aforementioned problems.
Dr Berg I truly wish you the best of fortune in this life. I hope with all my might that you may rest easy at night with all the lives you are saving and protecting.
    Kind Regards,
    Harry

  • @DashingPartyCrasher

I'm normally extremely patient and calm, even under stress. But with my dad passing three years ago, then Mom developing Alzheimer's and getting worse no matter what I do, plus the pandemic, relationship issues, dating anxiety, a messed up circadian rhythm, and health scares, etc. -- well, I've been stressed almost daily and have at times experienced most of these symptoms. I've tried a lot of things. Meditation helps a little, but I haven't made it a daily habit yet.
I wrote all that in case anyone else might offer some tips on what works for your anxiety.
This lemon balm tea 🍵 sounds like an easy, instant fix, so I'm ordering some online today! It probably won't fix the underlying issues of anxiety and stress, but hopefully at least it can help in a pinch. Thanks again, Dr. Berg.

Exactly what I needed to hear. My stress level is always high due to working two full-time jobs, being a single mom and having gastritis doesn't help. I deal with anxiety often, yesterday I had an espiode and muscle spasms since Tuesday last week. My sleep has been affected for months now. I'm not sure if the hot and cold flashes I have during sleep is also because of stress, but thanks Dr. Berg for this information.

Gastritis sucks and can last forever
The only thing for me that got rid of it was strict water fasting with a pinch of salt each day for 2 weeks.
My problem was so bad just drinking water hurt. The doctors were no help. Basically eating and drinking hurt so bad that I just quit. 2 days I was so thirsty I started drinking water again but no food. The pain started to go away in 5 day's so I just didn't eat. After 2 weeks I started to eat again and there was no more pain. A couple year's later the same thing started to happen. So I water fasted again this time using a little salt each day so I would not black out. About 14 day's I was back to normal. Now I only eat 1 time a day in the afternoon. This seems the best way for me but probably not other people. Im not into keto but I avoid surger like it is posion because to me it is. Yummy posion.

Before March 2020, I had frequent cold symptoms and sneezing daily. Since mid 2020, I came up with severe anxiety. Based on Dr. Berg' explaining, my immune system would be weak. However, the weird thing is I did not have cold symptoms and barely sneezing. In January 2022, I came to close contact when I did home Covid testing for my daughter who had cold like symptoms. I did not wear mask. She did. But after test was negative, she took mask off. I expected I would have cold few days after but none, zip. But I have been taking religiously daily 4000iu vit D, Omega 3, Turmeric, Vit C, Vit B complex, Zinc, copper, and Tart Cherry, daily drink Charmomile and Lavender Tea. So may be that's why my immune system is better than before I have anxiety.

The only thing that worked for me. I was trying to find something that could keep me sleeping. I had no problem falling asleep. But would just suddenly wake up from sleeping. Just bolt up suddenly in the bed. I wasn't having a nightmare or anything like that. Then the trips to the bathroom started. 2, 3 times a night. Drink this in the late afternoon.

I lost my 23-year-old daughter in December 2019 I haven't seen my granddaughter because of covid my niece got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 got the all clear now and looking after a disabled child trying to keep him safe from covid but last week he caught it from school lucky though he's not too bad with it only had abit of a cough and runny nose now it's gone so he has to isolate so we are stuck in. Plus, I'm just running around seeing what's happening with this divorce, which makes it harder as it's an international divorce. That's been going on for 3 years. I'm also in a long-distance relationship, and covid hasn't made it easy for us.

This is my favorite tea! I only drink it at night and my sleep is much deeper. I grow lemon balm in a pot on my patio. It grows like a weed and I would take a bunch of leaves off, cut them up and pour boiling water over. You can add a piece of fruit to it for a different taste. I also gather them and dry the leaves or freeze them in a ziplock bag for winter.
All the Polish stores in the Chicago area carry the tea, it's called melisa.

@@elizabethtimothy4776 I'm taking the brand, *ZONNATURA.* Those of us in Europe have limited variaty, less than the US. Zonnatura is pure, has all kinds of sorts, so it works. The one thing is important is that there should be only ONE ingredient on the list and that is the tea itself of course, - in this case *Lemonbalm* [citroenmelisse, as we call it] OR, FENNEL. I used both, alternating. Or, IF there are other ingredients than they should still be something I want, like fennel, camomille, valerian... etc.. in a very small percentage, then I don't mind. So, I take one teabag and put it in a big can, fill it up with boiled water - so not just "one cup", I am not wasting it, everything is so expensive - and start drinking it throughout the day. Basically INSTEAD OF water but take the first one fairly hot/warm. I'm telling you, it did something wonderful in the body. I started feeling CALMER and more organized "inside". Now I have bought extra, just to be sure: *FENNEL, LEMONBALM, GREEN TEA (Green Balance by Yogi Tea, which is a mix of 3 sorts) and NETTLE.* All are excellent. I even have HEMP & CAMOMILLE. All calming from inside and lost a bit of weight too. Simply because you're drinking more, your skin will be calmer as well. Did you start with it back in February? You have good results too? I am curious... xx.. Terribly sorry for the late reply but I don't get notifications. I should check the SETTINGS but didn't change anything so not sure what happened, I guess I missed a lot of answers, sorry, ♡♡♡ xx..

This is the only thing/tea that is allowed to be given to new-borns other than milk in my birthcountry, if there is something bad happening (like not enough breast milk or the baby is crying, crumping towards the tummy area... etcetera...). This calms down the intestines I guess and the baby will indeed sleep like a rose.. xx..

My spouse was hit harder and the hospital literally tried to kill (phone call, “They’re a DNR, right?”) before a pulmonologist put him on supplements and Azythromycin - better in 5 days but still very weak and coughing up tubules of white, stretchy stuff 6 month later. Now, we are dealing with the aftermath of the lack of fluids and food not provided for 7 days (bladder stone) and a calcified cyst from the bipap!! More surgeries with a body still healing!! I managed to get Azythromycin, too, which immediately reversed my lowering blood ox symptom but I hacked up junk for months, too! Totally stressed!
