I have the exact same laptop, it can play fortnite and warzone very smooth, I get like 120fps in fortnite and 50fps in warzone. I added a 8gb ram stick and 1TB HDD.
@@altzerz Ram is the memory, the more ram you have the more tasks you can have open at once, it gives you speed and efficency, the more ram the better. For the HDD, There are 2 types of storages in now a days comupters Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Solid State Drive (SSD). SSD is way faster than HDD meaning SSD can open and load programs way faster than the hard disk. So if you want to upgrade ask someone who knows about comupters for help or search on the interent, you can look up what storage and ram is compatible with your laptop and the max upgradable size the computer can handle. Hope I answered your quesstion> BTW I think the max ram upgrade is 20gb or 16gb ram and 4gb comes with the laptop (you can"t remove that 4gb ram it is soldered on the motherboard). I recommend that you get a 8GB DDR4 Ram stick and fill that extra slot and for the storage you could get a 2.5" Sata SSD storage either 128gb 256gb or if you alot you can go for 1 TB.

I was looking for a new personal laptop and this might do the trick. I have a dell i7 and when I use davinci resolve or any type of gaming, it snags. but the option to upgrade storage and ram is a huge plus. price on this is great.
There's no danger of overcharging a battery if you leave it plugged in all the time, even 24/7. As soon as it hits 100 percent, it will cease charging and won't start again until the voltage falls below a certain level. Fully discharging a battery will damage it. ~B

Awww bummer! Yeah you'd have to spend 2x the price of this to get a gaming laptop! This is great for everyday use and some light 60fps or less gameplay at 720/1080

For the price you pay it's not bad! Obviously M1 or M2 macs are probably the best bang for buck performance!

I believe the max supported for the slot is 16GB bringing the total to 24!

Does upgrading ram void warranty
This laptop is designed to be upgraded (ram and SSD) so I don't see why that would void your warranty!!

Aluminum on top of the lid is my guess and the keyboard deck is some sort of plastic!
