We came up on Wayne’s music through middle school in the early 2000’s all the way until now hes still making great music & improves his flow/wordplay/cadence,etc. He’s the goat imo. He needs to find his voice,... build his confidence up when engaging in conversation. He slouches and doesn't look men in the eyes, and looks down while talking. It shows he wasn't comfortable. Him being uncomfortable affected his delivery a bit as while, although he eventually got into the flow.
@@auniquedisposition9009 I was thinking the same thing watching him talk. When Brandon asked him is he up next I was thinking he can't be up next. He doesn't have near the charisma that Drake or Nicki does. He got all the skill, but he's gotta work on his body language and posture
Best rapper alive Your favorite rapper, rapper Lil Wayne is going down as one of the most influential, dynamic, musical artist that adapted through time and spawned a new generation and still being relevant and on top the whole way
This was so good! Love to see grown intelligent black men have a conversation that breaks down process, talent, the journey to success. this was so authentic
This is one the greatest interview I have ever seen. The respect paid to the legend and the production and preparation put in is amazing. I lowkey have felt some type of way about I AM ATHLETE since the split or whatever, but now I see the vision of what you all are trying to do over there. Shout out to ya'll man.
I felt what Wayne said about “putting a glass ceiling” if you're a true creative person it's never ending: it's his way of existing. Most come in the game to change their lifestyle and the music reflects that. Some are effortlessly creative because it natural as their existence it's one in the same. I love music but my talent is elsewhere because that's just what I do. he said 25 years felt like 25 minutes but isn't that the way it should be with something you love; how do you retire or stop and walk away from it? Like saying don't breathe; you can't. You don't need the extra men because you have learned all process to make the product. -I think he's ever changing. There will never be any destination for him. The game is not set up like that this was designed to have a end. So he's on pause until his next coming. Wanted to expand upon that because we hand out these titles to people that really don't embody or quantify on what's bestowed upon them. We need to stop making these fly by nights or I just was trying to change my situation the Goats and Icons they clearly aren't. This man is true greatness we have a few more. But not many. Some have good music but they aren't submerged via The heart.
Keep adapting and changing that’s in the Bible, most design books, a lot of development books etc. he definitely understood how the concept works and that’s good :)
@@jeremymartin9148 literally same idea that’s behind Jay z and the blueprint. Been listening to Wayne since I was 12 years old glad to still see bro in the rap game true legend no cap
I’m so thankful for Lil Wayne, I was born 1990 and this dude is and was a Fkin Legend (1 of the greatest) and biggest influential artists in my time! He gave so many fun nights to a hip hop fan like me! Thank you Sr Wayne, Chad Ocho and everyone else That was involved with this dope podcast/show.
On me right away my fuck boy In the rapper game okay no fuck rapper in the game to me don't really really want it with him okay on me for I My flavor of all time is sill here
All love dad
Born 1990 as well I truly appreciate the era of music I grew up in!
You remember then just how big the Carter 3 was in highschool.
Shootout to 1990s babies
Chad had me hollering. He’s too funny.
Seeing Wayne in this element is so nice. I love to see him laugh. He said some very good things.
Salute to Jag for getting this major look.. this was a once and life time chance to rap in front of wayne and you killed it! (The guy rapping at the end who made Weezy stand up)
I knew I recognized him... he’s a battle rapper right?
@@neworleanseveryday8450 yup. He killed it.
After all that drama between Jag & Rare Breed Ent., I'm actually genuinely happy for him and to see that he took a risk for himself/his career and managed to be the most impressive rapper the cypher!
Jag is fire in battle rap and that freestyle he just did on here was heat in the trap
Jag been rapping before battle rap, He was getting major looks and features before that, I'm sure he ran into him before, he run with Cassidy and got music with wayne
PAC-man’s excitement for smoking with Lil Wayne 🤣 That’s pure Joy!
Wayne is definitely a solid guy and I appreciated all of his efforts he put into his music through out the years. I feel his soon to be last album coming soon will end with a bang.
He isn't retiring any time soon.
Wayne is the only legend that can NOT give an answer to a question and it still be the best answer you could ever think of, goat 🐐🐐
PAC MAN is just raw and funny. Wayne is just hanging out and having fun. This episode was full of good positive energy. AND SMILES & SMOKES
Brandon Marshall all in Euro’s personal space, he crack me tf up. The room when silent when the Spanish lyrics came out, I felt bad for bro, but this whole show was great 😄
I believe we were blessed to be able to have lil Wayne in this world he had done so much for me with his music straight goat 🐐
Chad Ochocinco really needs to start his comedy career.... he would definitely be successful at it and prove to people that there is life after football
When Ocho was callin out Wayne, when Weezy clicked the lighter, thought he was gonna go off like the beginning of a verse. Lol
Man Charles Barkley

I am Athlete is just amazing on so many levels and this was a classic conversation and extremely needed. It was great to see Wayne in good spirits and talking about his come up and dedication to his gift. Also the way Cash Money and Wayne were really about their business and had thought out plans even when it came to writing. This was a needed conversation. Thanks
Wayne is a genius…. Who was surrounded and raised by the same. Awesome stuff
I'm a genius too. I'm just scary, I'm scared to get circumcised
Birdman kissed them lil boys😭😭
Wayne is not exaggerating about how he pulled up at the school. Everybody used to go crazy. It was a real problem, but even as successful as he was then, he was so chill.
My first album i bought was Tha Carter from Walmart..censored version. As a kid I used to fall asleep listening to the whole album. He has been my favorite artist my whole life. And it ain’t changing. Wayne is my 🐐
Lil Wayne is easily the greatest rapper ever! I appreciate this interview. Good vibes with the GOAT.
This man been doin this for 28 years mann and still killin everybody in the game you know how hard it is to do that and say different things and to adjust to the new generation of music this guy is amazing im 31 been rocking to wayne since squad up days 500 degrees hot boys he's the goat period 🐐
I like how he said you want smoke and Wayne did what he always do light that blunt 🔥💯🤣 the intro too legendary
I’m glad that I was in the era to experience the greatness of one of the rap Goats 💯💯💯💯 To me, Lil Wayne will always be one of the greatest rappers alive.
Little Wayne is the absolute best man/Musical genius I have ever listened too!!! Real, honest and don't give a fuc what the status quo is!!!! He is constantly correcting mos that try and tell him what to think, my favorite of all time.. I been a fan for 25 year's!!!!!
Love how Wayne attributes his early success to work ethic and structure. Imagine if we glorified those values instead of money, guns, drugs, and sex.
People buy the product, not how it was made
@@ca1637 artists do more than create products. They shape culture.
If only he RAPPED about those thing and not just money and drugs.
Your right! Sex, well, I don’t know. That’s a human biological need and the world literally was built through sex so idk if it will wake up one day being irrelevant in human interest. Guns. Well. The freaking government has something to do with this. Deep subject though. Drugs, deep too, but well, I’ll side you on this.
It wouldn’t be promoted because the industry is designed to destroy minds of youth. It’s more profitable for prison industrial complex and corporate America in general creating a consumer culture
@52:37 - Wayne's answer to the question has some BEAUTIFUL wisdom.❤🎉
Lil Wayne is the definition of music... great interview too
Wayne really has been the realist artist bro when he says it’s hard to not be creative is so dope I was telling my people when he said he was gone retire I said that same sentence he can’t just say he gone stop
If you’re from the crib then I already know yall are just as happy as I am that dred is finally getting his recognition. He could’ve easily spit something that he had already written but he put more pressure on himself and went off the dome in front of wayne! Dred you deserve it all my boy because you killed it💪🏿
SOOOO MANY RAPPERS NEED TO HEAR WHAT WAYNE SAID: "Shootin' and Violence?!?! I be around the ones that sing, we good around here!" Wisdom. Rap about it don't be about it leave that for the streets
They gon say Wayne was the greatest rapper to have ever lived when he’s gone but imma say it now. Wayne is the greatest rapper of all time.
This episode was a classic. Looked like they were just having fun. Shit I was even busting up. Great job IAA
Been a fan of Wayne since he came out rapping as a teen, watched his growth through Mixtape Wayne, how he went from “he’s a fire rapper from the south” to “he’s the best rapper alive” Carter 2 era Wayne & all the mixtapes he was dropping was really something special for me personally & everyone I know. We came up on Wayne’s music through middle school in the early 2000’s all the way until now hes still making great music & improves his flow/wordplay/cadence,etc. He’s the goat imo. You can tell Pac Man & Ocho really come from the bottom they relate to Wayne & understand it. Salute to everyone up there
Boy had a bear Q’d up , “never won a Super Bowl but my name still ring boy” fiyah 🤣 took me tf out .. the combo of Brandon’s calm cool swag and the funny high energy Ocho, it’s a beautiful thing baby
Amazing job Team....This was a classic hit like any of Wayne's hits....
Wayne should of just did a show by him self shit😭
I agree ☝️
@@MrTRUEBEST technically he does but it’s been helllaa long since he posted on yt
@@MrTRUEBEST *should’ve
The only bad album he’s had is Rebirth. That’s it.
This was an A+ episode 🔥🔥🔥 Wayne is the 🐐
Been waiting on EURO to come out for a minute!! Good to see him get some shine here.
I’m the Officialeuro check the stats
Frfr. He can rap like a MF 🔥
Euro been that dude since 14. He gone kill these artists
Best rapper alive
Your favorite rapper, rapper
Lil Wayne is going down as one of the most influential, dynamic, musical artist that adapted through time and spawned a new generation and still being relevant and on top the whole way
This was so good! Love to see grown intelligent black men have a conversation that breaks down process, talent, the journey to success. this was so authentic
Lil Wayne is a drug addicted, drug promoting, women bashing, blasphemous detriment to society
@@joerodriguez6587 I know you’re 50+ years old. Have to be. Either that or special Ed which one?
@@joerodriguez6587 yet here you are …:🤦🏾♂️

But it's a 🐐 without wayne no real music playing in the game!
This is one the greatest interview I have ever seen. The respect paid to the legend and the production and preparation put in is amazing. I lowkey have felt some type of way about I AM ATHLETE since the split or whatever, but now I see the vision of what you all are trying to do over there. Shout out to ya'll man.
What split?
Makes sense since he titled his mixtapes "No Ceilings"
Keep adapting and changing that’s in the Bible, most design books, a lot of development books etc. he definitely understood how the concept works and that’s good :)
@@kristopherleslie8343 you're so right I never thought of that!
Literally what separates great artists from just an artist. Doesn’t even have to be music. Could be any medium of art. Same thing
@@jeremymartin9148 literally same idea that’s behind Jay z and the blueprint. He created his own blueprint in his mind but he didn’t put a ceiling in his blueprint like most people do and if you listen to his lyrics he’s giving you the game to come up with your own blueprint. Master P spoke on the same “mental blueprint” philosophy also
This is probably the only interview I was fully engaged in… didn’t skip through anything. Man Wayne is a freakin legend! “Murda capital, only key to survive is kill and if the elements don’t murder you the ridaz will foreal!!”
If you don’t say Wayne ain’t the goat, you just a hater! This man been around damn near 30 years and still at the top of his game
Facts i know alot of people say jayz but wayne is someone I think most people can relate too. He's the goat
Not a hater to say he not the goat. He not lyrically the goat of rap. That's personal preference.
@@zayboii Right on
@@jhall700 Bingo. Excellent answer. In my Book when it comes to lyrics I would rank Wayne #9 but thats because the others in front are Monsters. Just to name a few I would put Black Thought, Tech 9 and Crooked I ahead of Wayne.
