- Travel days in Laos can often be tiring and long due to poor road conditions and infrequent public transport options. So we jumped at the chance to experience the Laos China high speed railway from Vientiane to Vang Vieng. This train journey takes just over an hour and is super convenient when time is of the essence and you don’t want to be stuck in a hot and cramped minivan.
