    I would have loved to buy this Lat pulldown. Unfortunately my basement is only 84 inches tall which is pretty limited in height. I ended up having to go with the XMark Lat Pulldown which barley fit. It’s literally hitting the ceiling 😂👏

    The thing I don't like is that the seat gets in the way of doing other exercises with low tow. I think I like the powertech better since u can swivel seat out of the way or BOS since seat does not get in the way

    You should drill another hole 1” lower on the lower pulley and move the pulley wheel. That will sure up any clearance issues and shouldn’t allow the wire to come off track

    It looks like all u can do with this is lat pulls and low rows. Low pulley is too deep under seat that is hard to do arm curls, uprigjt rows and other cable exercises.I I have the titan selectorized lat pull down and it's nice but hard to do other cable movements since seat gets in the way. I should of gotten the powertec since you can swivel seat out of the way to do other cable exercises.

    Great review! I the only determining factor is cost, and someone has less than $1,500 to spend, then this is probably a great choice. If someone has a little more to spend, then either Rogue or the new Prime Fitness Single Stack would be the way to go. It looks like buying Titan saves money on the front end, but will definitely mean repairs or replacements of pulleys, seats, pads, cables, etc. within a short period of time, which will actually end up costing more.

      Actually free. Never had to pay for a replacement part, just have to wait 7-10 days.

    My top brackets are kinda crooked and pulleys rubbing against top metal brackets
    I already played with bolts and it does not matter what I do pulleys running against metal:(

  • @futbol1972
    @futbol1972 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do I need to buy extra bolts? The once they sent to attach top front pulley are too short..I am trying to figure it out and once I attach longer metal bushings to each side of pulley there is no way to attach the nut. Or if I attach the long black roller there is no way for bolts to go all the way through metal bracket, bushings and pulley

    When doing curls on the low pully does the cable rub on the seat base or is there a pully under there?

      @patrick Reeves that's exactly what I want to know as well.

    Great review. I've ordered one big piece of Titan equipment so far, and luckily I didn't fall victim to Titan's legendary lack of QA when it comes to the shipment of their products with that one. I've been eyeballing this, especially since now that Titan has them back in stock as of this writing. I've been using the lat pulldown/low row attachment for my rack in my pandemic gym (i.e. garage gym) during quarantine, but it's just not the same as the commercial gym's lat machine. It's not super smooth no matter how much silicone lube I spray on it. How does this machine feel? From the looks of it, it seems like it'd be indistinguishable from a commercial gym's.

    Have you figured out a solution for your low pulley issue? I bought one and I’m looking to use it for lateral step-up work but that low pulley system is just not great

    • @PatrickReeves1
      @PatrickReeves1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I add a 2 ft chain to the lower pulley system and it give me more room to work with. Also pulling the cable out past the seat so the plastic ball is above the seat typically eliminates any problems I have. Then as far as keeping it on the pulleys you just have to keep upward tension on the cable so it stays on. Not ideal BUT still gets the job done.

    • @jasonledbetter3038

      PR Strength Does that help w the cable slipping off the pulley?

    • @PatrickReeves1
      @PatrickReeves1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It helps. Just have to make sure you start out with it on the pulley and are inline with the machine. Upward tension keeps it in the track but still has some tendencies to come off occasionally.
