Having owned many whippets I can safely say that the biggest and most common problem will be a broken leg. They run so fast and have such a strong prey drive that they don’t always pay attention to their surroundings and as a result can have some very serious injuries

Mine is 8 mos old and still chases my cats every day like prey, but she just wants to play…the cats don’t agree 😂
None of them I've lived with Whippet all my life, and I'm now approaching my 80th year.🐾
