I think your approach is a great idea! Providing an incentive to owners will encourage them to realize that their pets aren’t just there for them. Owners prolong and improve the quality of their pets life by taking regular and proper care of them.
I hope you can show us the 5 that come regularly to the salon now! It would make such good footage to see the condition they came in, to how they are now.
I would like to see that, too!
I like everything but especially when you clean the hair in my ears, it gives me a feeling of relief because it prevents ear infections...

When you said giant schnauzer, my mouth literally dropped open😢 I currently have 3 minis and mt heart hurt for the condition that baby was in. Thank you for giving him back his dignity and beauty ❤️

What a patient big boy! With a big dog like this it takes so much extra time to cover all of the area. BIG difference between a Giant Schnauzer and a Maltese. Schnauzers are VERY smart dogs. He knew you were helping him in a way no one else could - and he was grateful!
I think it is very generous of you and your husband to invite these poor dogs to the salon with a gift of money. I have seen some owners refuse the money when they see their beautiful dogs and you mentioned some become regular customers. So everybody wins. A very smart business decision, Madame! ♥

Thank you for helping this beautiful boy and all the other dogs ❤ Paying the owners is a clever incentive for them to have their dogs groomed and happy to hear that many bring their dogs back for grooming. So win - win!! Also, I've learnt that when dogs are severely matted such as this one, their skin becomes Very Itchy. Just a note that I'm sure they would appreciate a big scratch from you dear one. Can't imagine how horribly uncomfortable it must be and how owners can just stand by and not even try to do something... just watch it get worse. Some people don't deserve pets..I understand if owners are elderly or sick. Im referring to the just lazy and ones that dont care.

Besides long and dirty matted hairs, the poor dog has ticks and balding spots on his body. How sad! Thanks for grooming him to make him feel more comfortable.

Again, it's a joy to see how calm the dogs are when you're grooming them. I wonder if the owners who come back for regular grooms actually pay, this time? Did they truly realize how much pain their pet was in and decided to take responsibility, or is it only about money?
Some of them really pay for treatment, but the others (the most of them) don't even call us anymore ever after free (or payed) grooming....

Giant Schnauzers are one of my favourite breeds.
I used to clean the house of the owner of one from the time the dog was a puppy.
They bought him a linen cloth because he loved having a reminder of me.
At the end of the day I would take him for a walk and he was so good.
They moved away so I haven’t seen them for years, but I still love the breed.
They are gentle giants! 🥰
