Possibly you don't have any FSAA or similar switched on? Mine was off and it looked much better after I turned it on. Possibly the best looking in sim racing imo, especially in the late afternoon sunshine.
Seems like it is Rfactor2 with all it's usual quirks or annoyances. Shame they didn't rebuild from scratch. The graphics look dated and the usual bugs are there. But your reaction to the FFB and Physics is Rfactor2 to a tee, oh wow!!!!! I will wait until they implement VR and hope they have fixed the bugs, but won't hold my breath.
LMU has come out of nowhere to become the best racing sim in a matter of days. How long did it take AMS2 to be taken even slightly seriously? Literally years, and now LMU just walks in and steals its lunch money.
The ‘roll the dice’ and hope everything works is RF2 all over. This seems to be exactly the same - sometimes it runs, sometimes no other cars turn up, etc., etc. It’s a shame as the racing, once on track, can be fun and very rewarding - honestly. Let’s hope they manage pull this one together through the ongoing development process.
If they use the same old rf2 engine nothing will be better Rf2 could have been so much more. But it's engine is letting everything down. We cannot make the ai use custom skins for each track anymore ! It was possible in rf1!

I put a lot of hours in the game but i can not fall in love with it. If i compare it to asseto corsa and it mods it is so much better in handeling an track fealing. And the laggy menus is dramatic.
goes from 1st gear to N on it's own/cockpit view is skewed to the right, steering wheel is offset left and angled to the left / ffb steering is bad also / un-playable.
Seems like a lot of confirmation bias going on....especially in the comments. It seems people want to protect what they like (i.e. AMS2), but it's not like AMS2 or any sim is perfect and doesn't have some annoyances that people (fans of other sims) can nit-pick on. Some comments seem valid regarding LMU...some seem a bit nit-picky for an early access. A lot decent sims/games have died early on by overly critical people torpedoing any chance of success. I hope this doesn't happen with LMU.
Raceroom is a prime example. It never recovered from a poor start, which is a shame; I've spent over 2000 hours in that sim, and, while some of the criticism is valid (graphics particularly), it's an excellent sim.
No point in this when you can get the content for the most part in rF2 already and the driving experience is nearly identical. AMS2 kind of does this series and cars (the ones it has) better anyway, and of course you can get it all in AC if you prefer that. Uninstalled and probably will leave it alone until some day in the distant future.

Many RF2 problems here. I guess i ll have to wait 3-4 years for this one.
You are really optimistic with only 3-4 years

Idk yet only thing I’m really impressed with is the track Sebring and lil of sounds . I’ll stick with ams 👑
I think doing qualifying without the other cars on the track is an option. You can have the other cars if you want.
Hoping to see another mixed reality on this game.

Too many bugs and similar annoyances to rf2 it seems for me to bother with this. Your ui comments are on point. Thanks for testing it out Timo.
Interesting take. I love it so far, but it has a long road ahead.

Just as expected from Motorsport Games. Let me know when this game is not a hot mess anymore because it seems cool when it does work as it should.

Remember when we put our games on 7200 rpm disk drives?
👍

Did you know you can right click on the arrows to move in increments of 5 or something?
No, but that's indeed a huge time saver! Thx
A lot to do for the Developers. 😂
