I just got me a 14k 3mm diamond cut Franco. Traded in my 10k 9mm curb chain and 19 ounces of silver bullion for it. It's a different diamond cut than Jacoje's. I fell in love with it. I'm usually a rope guy myself. But Francos just have that heaviness to them, perfect for pendants, and a really strong chain. My 3mm 24" weighs 34.3 grams.
I grew up and South philly Atlantic City area everybody wore gold rope chains. Franco just feels like it's built to last forever. Next jacoje day I'll pickup 1 more Franco 3.5mm or 4mm 18k 22". Just to have 1 big heavy solitaire piece. They get heavy & expensive fast especially in 18k.
I like how you went into detail about neck size. The way the 18" was on you is the exact way a 22" is on me. Brayden should probably add that in his reviews bc all he says is that he's a bigger guy but to a weight lifting bigger guy he's small. Idk what my neck size is but I wear 26" and that fits me like your 22" fits you and i likethat it goes over my head bc i hate bothering a lobster clasp. Great collection my dude!
Thinking about getting a 4mm rope to stack with the 3mm Franco looks to be similar in size. I had a 5mm rope but it didn’t look right stacked with a 3mm.
I was thinking about jacoje maybe will get a bracelet there next. Just got a 4mm gold Cuban from Traxnyc and negotiated a good price with them on the phone, also got a nice cross pendant. I prefer Cuban links since they lay flat and are classic. I've had ropes before that have ripped, never again!
I have purchased pendants From trax NYC. These rope chains are solid gold. Would be very hard to break these bigger ones. I wear mine to the gym all the time, and work. Outside of a street fight , I don't see anything breaking over the 20 gram mark.. I prefer heavy diamond cut francos now . I think they give you the hardest shine/strength per $. My next pickup will be a 5-7mm 22 cuban, or a 4mm Franco 18k.
@@goldentrucker7921 Correct, it is hard to break them.. I do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu so that's where it broke, but it was also only 2mm thick, if it was thicker It probably would have lasted. Hey did you get that lobster clasp swapped out on the 18k 4mm rope, I know you were saying the clasp was too small, or did you keep it as is. Just got a 4mm from jacoje too and I was thinking about swapping it out for a traditional lobster clasp.
@@seankiesling2054 I very much enjoy the 4mm still, it’s way easier to fit pendants on it and it still stands out really well if it’s just stand alone too, plus I have a 10k rose gold chain in the same length as my tri color, both 22inch, and sometimes that one stands out too much when I want to be subtle, and 5mm is also more of a struggle to fit pedants on but overall I’m happy I got this width, with the different colors it has for some reason to me it stands out more than just one plan color, and people ask about it too which is fun to tell them about Jacoje hahaha but my chains still beautiful and going strong, and shiny as ever!
So I ordered the 18k 3mm franco dc in 22inch and accidentally recieved the 14k version. Kind of a good thing because the 3.5mm version had just became available so I swapped it to the 3.5mm. My question is how would you say the 18k fares in daily use. I'd like to leave it on all the time even sleep with it. I had a 14k for years back in the day and never had an issue. I even wearing my 2mm 22" 24k with 24k cross pendant (total combined weight 25grams) gold chain for 1 year now and never remove it in my neck.i even workout 6x a week and go beach once a week.it depends on the design of the chain and if its thinner than 1mm,then higher risk to break.also only rings and bracelet jewelries mostly get the daily beating if worn all the time,so 24k for those will ofcourse get scratches, dent or even break apart.not unless if the ring and bracelet are so thick.
haha "the wrong attention" I felt that. hopefully the wrong attention don't do anything stupid because I always got my piece on me, not talking about the chain LOL nah but I got a 14k white gold solid rope from jacoje was 2400 and what's kinda cool with white gold, "the wrong attention" don't know if its silver or not and worth stealing. Little do they know its 2.4k lol but either way like I said I always got it on me so its all good!

Now is a great time to sell. Do not buy any gold. New president coming in, stronger economy, gold will come back down. Then you buy gold. I'm not into politics, but these are just facts. It’s not just your neck size. If you have big shoulders (traps) and bigger chest, the chain will sit noticeably higher.

I have. But I try not to.
A solid chain at this thickness shouldnt have much problem sleeping in
