- Every so often I like to circle back around and make a rope chain layering video. I've made a bunch of these and I still get questions often regarding layering rope chains. I wanted to show different looks as well as talk about the basic principles when stating rope chains. In my opinion the rope chain is the best chain to layer and two chain so hopefully this video helps. Thanks for watching.

Thanks 🙏 for the video bradon. I got a 4mm 14kt 22in with a small cross that was my late mother’s and father’s wedding rings melted down into a cross. Got a 5mm 14kt 22in rope with a mother Mary pendant on it. Got a 6mm 14kt 24 in rope with a Jesus face pendant on it. And finally I have a 7mm 14kt 26in rope with a very large Jesus crucifix cross on it. All my chains are daily wears and I got them all from Direct Source Gold and Diamond except the last one I just bought last month the 6mm from Hawaii rope chains and got a great deal on it. I paid $3065 out the door for it, no tax and free 2 day fed ex shipping. I wish I could do business with you bradon but your prices are too high and I had to go with the best deal. I'm glad I purchased a 7mm 24 inch rope from you it's super fire definitely turns heads for sure makes me feel like a rapper low key but on a smaller scale I need a pendant for it but it's so thick pause that it's hard to find a bail big enough or piece solid enough in weight to compliment it my next pick up will be a rope bracelet from you and another rope chain maybe 8mm I really need a 18 in cuban chain as well

@@lud6441 honestly I'm probably gonna get the 7mm rope bracelet when I put the 7mm chain around my wrist it doesn't seem to big or bulky so I would assume the six would be just slightly smaller but still noticeable for a subtle flex but the light does shine hard off the rope though. Hope that helps 🙏
Great advice on the stacking and those rope chains are beautiful. I’m stacking an 18 in 3mm flat curb with a 20 inch 3mm rope with gold cross and that look works for me. I hope to soon add a 22 inch 4-5 mm cuban.

I am still a one chain person. Haven't figured out what I might like if two or more chains. I prefer just my Franco and lion. That works for me.

Rope chain is a timeless classic, period. That being said I’m a bigger dude 6’3”-6’4” 333lbs so I tend to rock thicker, bigger chains, like a 5.5mm 26”-28”. David C. California
I currently own two 5.5mm rock chains and wear them all the time. Definitely looking at the new 14.9mm Cuban 🔥 🔥 🔥
You can also put the pendent on the heavier chain on the bottom and leave the top one alone, that’s what I do on mine, I got two 6mm one 24 one 22 and Christ head on my 24 looks fire

After searching for a legit, quality rose gold chain to wear with a little rose quartz pendant my uncle left me when he died, going through so many that wound up being fake, full of nickel, making me break out... Are you allergic to rose gold or something in it and how did his hold-up compared to others because that is my concern as well. Thank you in advance
@@nerdbamarich2063 Not at all, I'm highly sensitive to nickel, and the nickelfree chains I got wound up not being so, the white gold and rose gold chains I bought on amazon turned out also to be fake. I returned them all, but I broke out bad on my neck and it was itchy, etc for a week or more. totally sucks. the chain from Jacoje is good.

@@nerdbamarich2063 I've worn it for a few days, no issues. I get issues with my fitbit, and to avoid them I simply don't wear it when I'm wet.

I like a 2 inch gap with pendants on both. Lay on top eachother.
You can do a 2” gap if you’re using for example a mini angel on the shorter chain

I pair a 7mm 24" rope chain with a pendant & a 11mm 22" cuban link, to me this looks better than having the shorter chain smaller

Stacking two ropes: Yellow 3.5 mm 22 inch and White 4 mm 24 inch. He's not kidding. This is a killer look especially for a night out. If you don't plan on getting a pendant and want a simpler look go with a 2 inch difference with the ropes. I couldn't be happier with the setup. Don't think I could ever have 3 on at a time since it feels a bit excessive but hey wear what you like with confidence.
You think 22" and 24" is better or 22" and 20"?
@OnMyGrindEveryDay ive been debating on that one for the longest, i personally got the 22" 2.5mm & 24" 3mm 14k white rope chain. Either way they both look great, just a matter of personal preference with the length.

I like 18in and 20in stack… fits more like 20 and 22 on me. I feel like a 22 would be too long, especially if I add a pendant. Plus I like to wear my 20in alone.

I stack my 4mm 5.5mm and 7mm flat curbs from jacoje (smash).👍 all at 22 inches. Or both 6mm rose gold and gold 22 inches from jacoje. Thanks Braden

Its a wierd 1 for some people but I literally have a 5mm 28inch silver flat curb and either wear it solo or paired with a 21k 2mm 23inch rope chain with a small pendant and I love them together. Or my other stack is the same 21k rope but paired with a 3mm 22k 26 inch rope.
Got two 20” 4mm ropes.. bouta add a 22” 5mm cuban to the stack 💫

Should you not wear a pendant on the bottom thicker chain when stacking? I notice the pendant is usually shown on the shorter chain with the longer chain staying solitaire. Hence the gap spaces being referenced. I think I like the pendant on the bottom chain and the shorter chain being the one that's solitaire. But not sure if that breaks a stacking rule. 😅 ⛓
There are no rules. Do what YOU like. I bet nobody will have the balls to confront you about it in real life.

Nice vid brother! Just bought last night my Diamond LG Jesus piece from your website. Going to pair it up with my 5mm 22” D/C rope chain. I have a few set up to do, 12mm 14k 26” Miami Cuban or my other Miami Cuban 9mm 25”. Also my 14k 6mm 26” D/C rope chain with the Jacoje LG Crucifix (my fav. combination). Rope chains are so comfortable to wear all day and they shine like crazy.
I have my pendent on a franco chain at 22 and my cuban link chain at 20

I prefer a 20in thicker rope and 22in thinner franco with a pendant. I'm actually surprised to see so many people wearing the thinner on top.

my opinion is that if you are just 2 chaining, the thickness doesnt really matter. i do think they should be pretty near the same thickness though. like a 3mm with a 4mm.

I stack a 3mm Franco with a 3mm rope both at 22 most days. If I wanna switch it up I’ll add my 3mm rope at 24 with a standard cross.

actually i disagree w braden I hate that gap its too big. my two francos twin, thats not perfect either I think like half inch difference is perfect for the mid size chains. have them flush me thinks. nothing looks better then solid gold when it comes to chain even diamond chain look nice but the right clean gold look is so timeless and can be a little more understated even when wearing huge chains, me thinks.

I have a 3mm 22 inch rope and today I was gonna buy another rope to go with it but they had a 20inch 4mm and idk if it looked right with the bigger one that's closer to your neck and then there was a 2.9 mm 22inch which looked alot better even though they were matching lengths what would anyone recommend?

Gotta have 4 inches difference between the chains. Some people do 6 inches difference if they have a really tall pendant. It is tricky to get exactly right though
