    Chile pasado is from the mountains. You find it in Chicago because los Durangenses in Aurora, Cicero, and the whole Chicagoland area are from the mountainous counties (municipios), Santiago Papasquiaro, Tepehuanes, El Oro, Inde, Guanacevi, Topia, Nuevo Ideal. You also find chile pasado in the desert municipios such as Ocampo.
    Also, Chile Pasado is expensive, so many places won't have it

    Chile pasado is in the mountain ranges, go to Creel in Chihuahua and you can find it there. I loved Durango, I think my favorite foods were the caldo durangense and the hamburgers. I went to Pancho Villas house in Chihuahua, that place was crazy. They have the car that he was killed in, there are bullet holes that are like bigger than three fingers. I think they shot him with at least 55 caliber bullets.

    • @EatBailaTravel
      @EatBailaTravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      we didn't get around to trying caldo duranguense so that will be a priority on our next visit 🙂 and whaaat I'm surprised that car he was killed in is at his house and not at the museum 😯 crazy that they still have things like that at his house!

    • @pedrozatravel
      @pedrozatravel ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EatBailaTravel to be fair his house is pretty much a museum, it is owned by the Mexican army and officially it is an army garrison, but for 15 mxn, they let you walk through it and the public part is like a museum. The car is one of the few things I got to take a picture of because they only allow pictures outside the building.

    Durango es un estado muy bonito y si tenemos mucho que ofrecer, tenemos de las mejores sierras del país, el problema de nuestro estado es la gente somos muy cerrados y no tenemos la cultura de hospitalidad ni servicio, sin mencionar que el centro habré a las 10 u once de la mañana y todavía unos cierran a las 2 y vuelven abrir a las 4 y donde vayan son mala carientos si vienes con mente abierta y sin grandes expectaciones si te la pasas muy bien.
