Chile pasado is from the mountains. You also find chile pasado in the desert municipios such as Ocampo. Also, Chile Pasado is expensive, so many places won't have it

Loving the Durango content. That Pancho Villa museum looks so cool, and the murals are amazing. You know we loved seeing those mezcal sips at the end. ¡Salucita!
Great video! I love seeing how Chicago culture is present in the city. Often times people go to the U.S. and stay (for a number of different reasons) but I like how people are returning and starting businesses. A real investment in the community.
that is really cool, huh? it reassures us that there are opportunities for us Mexican Americans who've lived on the other side of the border and can offer something fun, fresh, and unique 💡🙂

Yes we later learned that chile pasado is more common to the north of Durango city to the area of Santiago Papasquiaro. We look forward to going back to that area.
On the street of the Airbnb (can't recall the street name) that I stayed at in Durango, there were burrito and gordita restaurants like every 5 shops. That's all they eat there haha.
Durango looks really cool. I like places that aren't overly visited. Been dying to go to Zacatecas for years but hard to get there from San Jose del Cabo if you are lazy and don't like cold weather. Take care, you two, and all the best!
Because in Mexico in May we celebrate a catholic religious tradition of the Holy Cross and the people (the neighbors of the Church) organize a kermesse.
Dallas has been drenched today by remnants of Roslyn, the big storm which had made landfall near Durango. hope there're few casualties in Mexico! must have packed a wallop there yesterday.
On the southwest side in the town of Cicero, Gorditas Don Angel for gorditas de chile pasado and for burritos de tortilla de harina at El Pollo Vagabundo in North Lake. I'm sure they're not the only ones but they're the only ones we know 😃
@@EatBailaTravel - thanks very much. We just moved closer to the north side - Dad is from Guanacevi and mom is from Santa Maria area - that food brings back great memories. Great channel good luck to you and yours
Chile pasado is in the mountain ranges, go to Creel in Chihuahua and you can find it there. I loved Durango, I think my favorite foods were the caldo durangense and the hamburgers. I went to Pancho Villas house in Chihuahua, that place was crazy. They have the car that he was killed in, there are bullet holes that are like bigger than three fingers. I think they shot him with at least 55 caliber bullets.
we didn't get around to trying caldo duranguense so that will be a priority on our next visit 🙂 and whaaat I'm surprised that car he was killed in is at his house and not at the museum 😯 crazy that they still have things like that at his house!
@@EatBailaTravel to be fair his house is pretty much a museum, it is owned by the Mexican army and officially it is an army garrison, but for 15 mxn, they let you walk through it and the public part is like a museum. The car is one of the few things I got to take a picture of because they only allow pictures outside the building.

Dallas has been drenched today by remnants of Roslyn, the big storm which had made landfall near Durango. hope there're few casualties in Mexico! must have packed a wallop there yesterday.
Wow it reached Texas?? 😓 it was a big one. 3 causalities reported as of 2 hours ago 😔
I leave for Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta today! Any recommendations to eat in GDL? WOO HOO PIZZA FROM CHICAGO!!!
In Guadalajara, the street burgers and Egyptian street food on Ave Chapultepec are super good.
Very good video. Thanks
In Chicago where is a good Durango restaurant with chile pasado and burritos with real flour tortillas? Thanks
@@Asdfghjkl1234 thank you! 🤗 hope you find some good food! North side has a great diversity of food
Si buscan chile pasado necesitan ir a ranchitos de Durango, es complicado encontrarlo en la ciudad

Tienen muuy buen acento, felicidades:)
😜 gracias
@@pedrozatravel oh wow! Super cool, we’ll try to check it out someday thanks for sharing 😊
@@pedrozatravel very cool!!
Dope I was just there for the 15th lol
oh awesome!! we saw the decorations going up but left by August 30th so we didn't get to see it all lit up, I bet it looked amazing 🥲
@@EatBailaTravelYes it was. If I could share a photo I would lol
COOL VIDEO
Thank you, Alfredo!
