I was just in Durango during New Years, such an amazing city. At Paseo del Viejo Oeste I was pulled from the crowd during the show and got to act in some scenes. It was an unforgettable experience.
I found your videos last summer and it was one of the motivators to make the move to Mexico. I've been in Durango since January of this year. My parents are from Durango so it was easy for me to come here. You guys are right and this city is slept on. There's a tianguis that pops up on Sunday, Tíanguis el santuario, and it is an great experience. I like to go early so I can have breakfast.
Yeah,I’m from Durango city also. I used to live near el Santuario de la Virgen de Guadalupe(our lady of Guadalupe Sanctuary). Great celebrations there on the end of year holidays(before & on the 12th of December).

I don't know if somebody's gonna read this, I have to recommend you that, if you come to Durango, and end up renting a car, or have transportation with a local friend, go to Nombre de Dios, is a small, very small town, or village or idk. The thing is, the food there is good, there's nice people, and they also sell wine made out of the local fruits for like 6 or 8 dollars. Homemade. Good stuff. You're not going to regret it. Edit: I forgot to say it's a 40 minutes to 1 hour drive to get there, and another to get back, nothing outrageous, but worth pointing out.
Now again such a surprise for me ! I go to Durango pretty often & pedestrian Constitución is just around the corner to where is my house there ! Thank you a Lot for showinng one of the underrated tourist destinations in México. The state is incredibly beautiful specially by the Mountain range. If ever you follow though Mazatlan next, you ¨ll see for yourselves . Best wishes Bro !

I'll never forget I was in a small restaurant in a small town in Spain with some friends. The place was filled with local families having dinner. As we were drinking we would say "salud" to each other, and a little girl in the table next to us would say "apaga la luz" and everyone in the restaurant would laugh. Anyway, you guys saying salud when you were drinking the mezcal made me think about it. Keep up the good work!
You said it best when it comes to Durango and I think it's most overlooked appeal. It. Is. So. Chill. My dad had been dealing with insomnia until he finally went back home to Durango from Chicago and told me he slept so good being back there.
Great video! One of my closest friends is from Durango, he always speaks highly of it! And y'all, I fell OUT with the sound effects (Crowd Reaction 6 from Epidemic Sound? lol) when you interviewed the first gentlemen with the drug charges. I use that sound in some of my videos too LOL
PS I have heard my parents talk about Dolores Del Rio many a time growing up. Granted my mom is in her late 90s now so know that Ms. Del Rio was very well known during her era.

I miss it! On Sundays the Durango Centro has concerts and activities. They normally close the roads to set up a chill environment. ❤❤❤❤ I miss it and want to move there. Everything about it is just right!

That’s my home town and the city of film making, well there is a lot of people moving there now, actually my gray grandfather , is Domingo Arrieta , he was the 1st governor after the the revolution (civil war) , there is monument and a main Blvd after his name
Fun fact: A lot of the original Magnificent Seven was filmed in/around Tepoztlán, Morelos (where I met my husband and where we have our home). This area was also Emiliano Zapata’s stomping grounds. Lots of stories and legends. One of our friends whose ancestors have lived in this Valle Sagrado since time immemorial has an old, thick walled adobe home built nearly 500 years ago. It has bullet holes in the front wall from the Mexican Revolution.
You guys didn’t even go to the sierra, just rent a cabin for the weekend and you will see the best forest 🌳 ever, how about the zone of silence too for a weekend trip. Desert on the east, plains in the center and sierra on the west, where you can find the coldest place in Mexico. Durango is so beautiful that a town in Colorado was name after this state in Mexico.
This was the main reason we came. It's one of the least expensive places in Mexico but I thought it was a dangerous and super-sleepy poor town. Ohh, was I wrong. It's not big city but it is vibrant, active friendly, clean and affordable!
The Four Ladies of Hollywood is a 30-foot-tall sculpture that stands on a traffic island at the juncture of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. The design is intended to be a tribute to four trailblazing women of color who broke boundaries during the Golden Age of Hollywood: Mae West, Dorothy Dandridge, Anna Mae Wong, and Dolores Del Rio. 😎
@TheYarbros- Did u visit El Cerró de los Remedios? There’s a long a*s stairs to climb up there,& and an old church up there if u make it. People also like to go there to work out by climbing them.

My grandparents were from that area. I was actually doing research into maybe retiring there part time. The other popular places got too expensive.

You are not far from my hometown of Parral, Chihuahua. Not as big as Durango but worth the visit if you are headed north. Look it up.
It's on our list though we may not make it there this time around.
Dive out to the mountains a1/2 hour and your in narco county. I know because I got family that live in that estado. Be safe out there.
